  • Bruce Thornton PG | HOU

Rockets' Bruce Thornton: Drops 23 points in SL win

Thornton tallied 23 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 33 minutes during Thursday's 100-83 Summer League victory over Brooklyn.

Thornton led the way for the Rockets in the scoring column and was one of three starters to rack up two or more steals. He's now scored in double figures in four straight Summer League showings, and while he's certainly not a lock to carve out a spot in the rotation at this point, he's on track to enter training camp with some momentum given his recent strong play.

  • Ryan Nembhard PG | DEN

Mavericks' Ryan Nembhard: Doesn't play Thursday

Nembhard (undisclosed) did not play in Thursday's 97-87 Summer League win over the Thunder.

Nembhard didn't suit up for Monday's 96-88 Summer League victory over Memphis. He was considered day-to-day, and while it's unknown whether he's still under the weather, he may have already played his final game in Las Vegas this summer.

  • Mavericks' John Poulakidas: Leads Dallas in scoring in SL win

Poulakidas finished with 19 points (6-14 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block across 27 minutes in Thursday's 97-87 Summer League win over Oklahoma City.

Poulakidas finished with 19 points, his second double-digit scoring performance and highest point total in four Las Vegas Summer League appearances. The 23-year-old, who is currently signed to a two-way contract, appeared in 13 regular-season games with the Mavericks during the 2025-26 campaign, averaging 8.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.3 blocks and 0.5 steals over 19.5 minutes. Poulakidas is projected to spend most of his time in the G League in 2026-27, though he could see minutes with Dallas if the team needs depth because of an injury.

  • Mavericks' Sergio de Larrea: Collects 14 dimes in SL win

De Larrea finished with two points (1-8 FG, 0-5 3Pt), nine rebounds, 14 assists, one steal and one block in 26 minutes during Thursday's 97-87 Summer League victory over the Thunder.

De Larrea couldn't get his shot to fall in this one, but he found a way to make significant contributions elsewhere. He paced Dallas in both assists and rebounds, nearly reaching a double-double with his production on the boards and as a facilitator. De Larrea continues to enjoy a strong Summer League and could have another chance to run the floor Friday against the Knicks.

  • Mavericks' Morez Johnson: Sits out with illness

Johnson (illness) didn't play in Thursday's 97-87 Summer League win over the Thunder.

The Mavericks held the rookie first-rounder out for a second straight game while he battles an illness. It's unclear if Dallas plans to give Johnson any further Summer League reps ahead of training camp.

  • Otega Oweh SG | OKC

Thunder's Otega Oweh: Fails to appear Thursday

Oweh (lower leg) wasn't active for Thursday's 97-87 Summer League loss to the Mavericks.

Oweh remains out of commission while nursing a lower leg injury. It's unclear at this time whether he'll be able to take the court before Summer League wraps up over the weekend.

  • Heat's Vladislav Goldin: Agrees to two-way deal with Heat

The Heat and Goldin agreed to a two-way deal Thursday, per Michael Scotto of USA Today.

Goldin appeared in nine games for the Heat last season, but he figures to spend most of his time in the G League in 2026-27. He averaged 11.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game during the G League regular season for the Sioux Falls Skyforce in 2025-26.

  • Aday Mara C | OKC

Thunder's Aday Mara: Finished for rest of Summer League

The Thunder are shutting down Mara (rest) for the remainder of the Las Vegas Summer League, per Rylan Stiles of SI.com.

Oklahoma City got a good look at Mara during exhibition play, as the rookie big man averaged 9.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.8 blocks in 23.9 minutes per game over five Summer League appearances. Mara, a 2026 first-rounder, will be competing with Jaylin Williams for the backup center gig behind Isaiah Hartenstein during training camp.

  • Bennett Stirtz PG | OKC

Thunder's Bennett Stirtz: To miss final two games

Stirtz will miss the final two Summer League games, Rylan Stiles of SI.com reports.

The No. 16 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, Stirtz is not dealing with an injury, but the Thunder are happy with the amount of reps he's received. Through five exhibitions, he averaged 13.6 points, 3.4 assists and 1.6 rebounds.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Shut down for Summer League

The Suns will shut down Fleming for the remainder of the Summer League, John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports.

The Suns will also shut down Khaman Maluach and Koa Peat, though there are no injuries to report. Across four exhibitions, he put up averages of 11.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists.
