  • Naz Reid PF | CHA

Hornets' Naz Reid: Traded to Charlotte

The Timberwolves traded Reid, three first-round pick swaps, three second-round pick swaps and a 2033 unprotected first-round pick to the Hornets on Thursday in exchange for LaMelo Ball and Josh Green, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Minnesota has now moved on from Reid and Julius Randle this offseason, with the former heading to another crowded frontcourt. Reid has averaged at least 13 points and five assists while shooting 36 percent from three in each of his past two seasons. Currently, he's slated for another reserve role, but Miles Bridges has been in the rumor mill this offseason, so Charlotte may not be done making moves.

  • Josh Green SF | UTA

Timberwolves' Josh Green: Traded to Minnesota

The Hornets traded LaMelo Ball and Green to Minnesota on Thursday in exchange for Naz Reid, a 2033 unprotected first-round pick, three first-round pick swaps (2028, 2029, 2030) and three second-round picks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Green was likely just used as some additional salary filler in this deal as the Hornets trim their books. Green could carve out a role in Minnesota, but his fantasy appeal is really low. Across 58 regular-season appearances in Charlotte in 2025-26, he averaged 4.3 points and 1.8 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per contest.

  • LaMelo Ball PG | MIN

Timberwolves' LaMelo Ball: Traded to Minnesota

The Hornets traded Ball and Josh Green to Minnesota on Thursday in exchange for Naz Reid, a 2033 unprotected first-round pick, three first-round pick swaps (2028, 2029, 2030) and three second-round picks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Ball's name has been in the rumor mill for quite some time, but this was certainly unexpected. Minnesota now teams Anthony Edwards up with an elite playmaker, putting the No. 1 and No. 3 picks from the 2020 NBA Draft together. Charania notes that the Hornets didn't actively shop Ball, but they received multiple offers, and this is the route they went. As far as landing spots go, Ball could have a field day setting up the likes of Edwards, Jaden McDaniels and Rudy Gobert.

  • Tobe Awaka PF | CHI

Bulls' Tobe Awaka: Agrees to two-way deal with CHI

Awaka has agreed to a two-way contract with the Bulls, Joel Lorenzi of The Athletic reports.

Despite being undersized at 6-foot-8, Awaka is a terrific rebounder who plays with a lot of grit on defense. He still has a lot of room to grow on offense, though, so he'll likely be a project for the Bulls this season, spending most of his time in the G League.

  • Pacers' Tamin Lipsey: Signs with Indiana

Lipsey agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with the Pacers on Wednesday, Darren Wolfson of KSTP-TV reports.

Lipsey will presumably get an opportunity to make a good impression with the Pacers in Summer League after a solid season at Iowa State. The 22-year-old guard averaged 13.5 points, 5.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 steals in 34 outings with the Cyclones in 2025-26.

  • AJ Dybantsa SF | WAS

Bulls' Jaylin Sellers: Inks two-way deal with Chicago

Sellers signed a two-way deal with the Bulls on Wednesday, Dushawn London of CBS Sports reports.

Sellers played well in his final season at Providence, averaging 18.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 2.4 triples per game on 47/43/86 shooting splits. His lights-out shooting helped earn him a spot on the Bulls' roster, but he'll likely spend most of his rookie season with their G League affiliate.

  • Cavaliers' Xaivian Lee: Agrees to Exhibit 10 deal with CLE

Lee agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal with the Cavaliers on Wednesday, Jon Chepkevich of DraftExpress.com reports.

Lee led the Seminoles in assists in his senior season at Florida State, posting averages of 11.6 points, 4.2 assists, 1.6 triples and 1.2 steals per game. He'll have a chance to compete for a roster spot during training camp, but it could prove tough to make the cut given Cleveland's depth at the guard positions.

  • Peter Suder SG | CHI

Lakers' Peter Suder: Signs two-way deal

Suder agreed to a two-way contract with the Lakers on Wednesday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

The 2025-26 MAC Player of the Year will get an opportunity with the Lakers after not hearing his name called in the 2026 NBA Draft. Over 33 appearances for Miami University last season, he averaged 14.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.3 steals in 31.1 minutes per tilt. He shot 54.6 percent from the field and 42.1 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Thunder's Lamar Wilkerson: Agrees to Exhibit 10 deal with OKC

Wilkerson agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with the Thunder on Wednesday, Jon Chepkevich of DraftExpress.com reports.

Wilkerson shot 39.2 percent from distance during his four-year collegiate career, and that sweet shooting stroke helped earn him an invite to Oklahoma City's training camp. In his final season at Indiana, Wilkerson averaged 20.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 3.3 triples and 1.0 steals per game on 46/38/89 shooting splits.

  • Rockets' Quadir Copeland: Joining Houston on two-way pact

Copeland agreed to a two-way contract with the Rockets on Wednesday, Dushawn London of 247sports.com reports.

Copeland didn't hear his name called in the 2026 NBA Draft but will get an opportunity with the Rockets. However, he'll likely spend the majority of his time with their G League affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Over 34 games with NC State in 2025-26, the 22-year-old guard averaged 13.9 points, 6.5 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals in 28.8 minutes per game.
