Lipsey had a decorated college career, starting every game over the course of his four years at Iowa State. He was the tip of the spear for a Cyclone defense that ranked among college basketball’s top ten defenses in three of his four years, and was among the top 15 in all four. While he’s not a prototypical NBA guard, he may prove to be the overachiever who can fight his way into a spot in the league.

Lipsey (rest) will not play in Saturday's Summer League game against the Pelicans, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.
Lipsey appeared in two Summer League games for the Pacers and averaged 3.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists over 22.8 minutes per contest. He signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Pacers in late June, but it's unclear whether he's done enough to earn an invite to Indiana's training camp.

Lipsey agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with the Pacers on Wednesday, Darren Wolfson of KSTP-TV reports.
Lipsey will presumably get an opportunity to make a good impression with the Pacers in Summer League after a solid season at Iowa State. The 22-year-old guard averaged 13.5 points, 5.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 steals in 34 outings with the Cyclones in 2025-26.
