Mitchell (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Dallas. Mitchell came away with an ankle sprain in the aftermath of Monday's win over the Suns. With Alex Caruso (ankle) already ruled out for Wednesday, Jared McCain would be streaming shallow fantasy leagues and Bennett Stirtz in deeper formats if Mitchell is sidelined.

Mitchell totaled 30 points (10-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 9-10 FT), two rebounds, five assists and one block in 25 minutes during Monday's 125-114 victory over the Suns. Mitchell drew the start in place of Jalen Williams (ankle) and delivered a career-best scoring performance, including 18 points in the first half. With Williams and Cason Wallace (shoulder) both facing extended absences following injuries that require surgery, Mitchell is positioned for a significant increase in offensive responsibility. Alex Caruso also exited Monday's contest with a right ankle sprain, potentially creating even more backcourt opportunities. Mitchell should be a priority fantasy pickup given Oklahoma City's mounting injury concerns.

Mitchell is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Suns, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports. Mitchell will move to the starting lineup and could be in line for a larger role for the foreseeable future since both Jalen Williams (leg) and Cason Wallace (shoulder) are expected to miss most, if not all, of the remainder of the season. Mitchell recorded 18 points (8-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, four assists and three steals in 27 minutes during Sunday's 108-101 win over the Clippers.

Mitchell recorded 18 points (8-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, four assists and three steals in 27 minutes during Sunday's 108-101 win over the Clippers. Mitchell was hoisted into a larger role Sunday due to injuries to Cason Wallace (shoulder) and Jalen Williams (ankle) and put together an impressive all-around performance. Mitchell continued his solid play defensively, following up his career-high five steals Thursday with a three-steal outing Sunday. The 24-year-old pro will likely continue to see an expanded role going forward due to Williams' injury.

Mitchell recorded 12 points (5-11 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one block and five steals in 23 minutes during Thursday's 96-84 win over Denver. Mitchell recorded a career-high five steals, while adding a block for good measure. He also finished as one of four Thunder players to score double digits in what was a game dominated by defense. Seen as a viable late-round target in fantasy drafts by many, it's fair to say that the jury is still out when it comes to what his role might look like this season, Early indications are that he will likely flirt with about 24 minutes per game, which at least keeps him on the radar.
