Randy Arozarena LF | SEA
Mariners' Randy Arozarena: Homer, three RBI in win
Arozarena went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI and a hit-by-pitch in Friday's 9-6 win over the Astros.
Arozarena got plunked at an opportune time, as it drove in the Mariners' second run. He then put them ahead 5-3 in the fifth inning with his first homer of the season. Despite the lack of power so far, Arozarena has been one of the team's few reliable hitters, batting .271 with an .803 OPS, six RBI, 10 runs scored, three stolen bases and an 8:11 BB:K through 14 contests. He remains in the No. 5 spot in the order regularly, but the cold bats higher in the lineup could afford him a chance to move up if things don't change.

Andres Munoz RP | SEA
Mariners' Andres Munoz: Secures first save
Munoz walked two and struck out one in a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Friday's 9-6 win over the Astros.
Munoz hadn't gotten a save chance before Friday, mostly due to the Mariners' underwhelming performance early in the season. He was a little shaky, throwing just 12 of 25 pitches for strikes, but he got the job done. Munoz has allowed three runs (two earned) over five innings this season, scattering three hits and two walks while racking up eight strikeouts. If the Mariners get on track, the save chances should follow for the 27-year-old, who converted 38 of his 45 save opportunities in the 2025 regular season while adding a dominant 1.73 ERA and 1.03 WHIP over 62.1 innings.

Emerson Hancock SP | SEA
Mariners' Emerson Hancock: Fans five in win
Hancock (2-1) allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings to earn the win Friday over the Astros.
The Mariners had a 3-0 lead after one inning, but Hancock gave it all back in the second on Christian Vazquez's three-run double. After that, Hancock settled in and got enough support to come away with his second win in three starts this season. The right-hander threw 56 of 88 pitches for strikes in this outing. While he missed out on a third straight quality start, he's still at a 2.04 ERA, 0.74 WHIP and 19:3 K:BB across 17.2 innings to begin the season. Hancock is tentatively lined up for a road start in San Diego in his next outing, and he should remain in the rotation at least until Bryce Miller (oblique) can debut.

Jordan Beck LF | COL
Rockies' Jordan Beck: Nabs second steal
Beck went 1-for-1 with one RBI, a walk and a stolen base in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Padres.
Beck has been on the bench to begin four of the Rockies' last five games, all against right-handed pitchers. That suggests he's slipped into a short-side platoon role in the outfield, which will make it tough for him to get steady playing time without better results at the plate. He's hitting just .115 with five RBI, one run scored and two stolen bases on three attempts over 29 plate appearances this season. Beck stole 19 bases on 27 attempts in 2025, so he does provide some speed off the bench as well as a right-handed bat to bring in against lefty relievers.
-
Willi Castro LF | COL
Rockies' Willi Castro: Records first steal
Castro went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Padres.
Castro has hit safely in four of the last five games, with Friday's effort helping to wash out the taste of his five-strikeout performance from Thursday. The utility man typically doesn't add much power, so he'll need to make steady contact to add value in fantasy. Over 13 games this season, he's batting .224 with a .630 OPS, one home run, seven RBI, eight runs scored, three doubles and one steal in two attempts. Castro is primarily seeing time in the infield but has past experience in the outfield.

Tomoyuki Sugano SP | COL
Rockies' Tomoyuki Sugano: Yields two homers in no-decision
Sugano allowed two runs on four hits and struck out three without walking a batter over six innings in a no-decision Friday versus the Padres.
Sugano turned in a second straight quality start, though the long ball remains a problem. He gave up solo home runs to Gavin Sheets and Luis Campusano in the fifth inning. Still, over 16.2 innings across three starts, Sugano has a 2.16 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 12:3 K:BB. He's made two of his starts on the road, and it's likely his luck will run out with a steady stretch of time at Coors Field. The right-hander's next start is projected to be at Houston.

Luis Campusano C | SD
Padres' Luis Campusano: Belts first homer of season
Campusano went 2-for-2 with a solo home run, a double and a walk in Friday's 5-2 win over the Rockies.
Campusano continues to deliver with the bat, as he's hit safely in his last five games and has a homer and four doubles in that span. The long ball Friday was his first of the season. He started the year firmly in a bench role behind Freddy Fermin, but Campusano's hot hitting could help him secure more playing time. The catcher is batting .353 (6-for-17) through seven contests while adding four RBI and three runs scored.
-
Gavin Sheets RF | SD
Padres' Gavin Sheets: Clubs first two homers of campaign
Sheets went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Friday's 5-2 win over the Rockies.
Sheets opened the scoring with a solo shot in the fifth inning and then walked it off with a three-run blast in the ninth. Those were his first two homers of the year after he hit a career-best 19 in the 2025 regular season. This was Sheets' second multi-hit effort in a row and his fourth in his last eight games. The 29-year-old is now batting .256 with a .785 OPS, six RBI, six runs scored, five doubles and a stolen base over 13 contests.

Walker Buehler SP | SD
Padres' Walker Buehler: Earns quality start Friday
Buehler allowed three hits and struck out four without walking a batter over six scoreless innings in a no-decision Friday versus the Rockies.
Buehler's first two outings as a Padre were unremarkable, but he logged his first quality start of the season in this one. The opponent likely played a factor in his success, but this was a positive step forward for the 31-year-old right-hander after a couple of down years following Tommy John surgery. Buehler has an 11:5 K:BB to go with his 4.97 ERA across 12.2 innings through three starts this season. He is projected to make his next start at home versus the Mariners.

Connelly Early SP | BOS
Red Sox's Connelly Early: Goes 4.1 innings in no-decision
Early didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Cardinals, allowing one run on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts across 4.1 innings.
Early allowed the first three batters to reach in the bottom of the second inning but was able to escape with just one run allowed on a Victor Scott sacrifice fly. Early battled command issues most of the night but was able to work around it and got into the fifth inning before exiting with a 2-1 lead. Zack Kelly came on in relief and allowed the first three batters he faced to reach base, and St. Louis took a 3-2 lead into the sixth inning. Through three starts, Early owns a 2.63 ERA and 15:8 K:BB across 13.2 innings. He lines up to face the Twins on the road Wednesday.
