Bibee (10-6) allowed four runs on eight hits and a walk over 5.2 innings Friday, striking out six and taking a loss against Texas.

In seven outings since, he's produced a 5.77 ERA despite a strong 36:4 K:BB over 39 frames. He had allowed multiple homers just four times over his first 25 starts this year, but has now done so in back-to-back outings. Povich was mainly burned by two home runs and departed at 84 pitches without recording an out in the sixth inning. The southpaw impressed with a quality start in his last outing but missed just nine bats Friday and was bailed out by an eighth-inning rally from his offense. On the season, Povich owns an uninspiring 6.10 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 34:25 K:BB across 48.2 innings, and he lines up for a tough road matchup with the Dodgers next week.

The 6-foot-7 hurler has a 3.20 ERA in his last three starts but has just three strikeouts in the span. He's scheduled for a road start against the Tigers next.
