Banda was recalled by the Rays on Monday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Banda will give the Rays added bullpen depth for the stretch run. He's spent the entirety of the season in the minors, posting a poor 6.04 ERA in 28.1 innings for Triple-A Durham when not dealing with an elbow injury.

Sulser's contract was purchased by the Rays on Monday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Sulser, acquired in a trade from Cleveland over the offseason as part of the return for Jake Bauers, spent the season with Triple-A Durham. The 29-year-old recorded a 3.27 ERA in 66 innings, striking out 32.6 percent of opposing batters. A corresponding move to clear a spot on the 40-man roster has yet to be announced.

Perez (forearm) was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock ahead of Monday's game against the Brewers, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.

After missing nearly a month and a half with a forearm injury, Perez was reinstated from Round Rock's 7-day injured list Thursday. The Astros' decision to bring him back so recently after the health setback illustrates the depleted slate of the big-league bullpen, which currently features four pitchers on the IL. Despite those personnel losses, Perez is expected to see limited usage -- mostly in lower-leverage spots -- throughout September.

Hendriks allowed two runs on three hits with one strikeout while recording two outs during a blown save in the ninth against the Yankees on Sunday.

The 30-year-old actually came in with two runners on base and one out in the eighth. He retired the side in the frame, but he let both inherited runners to score, bringing the Yankees within one run. Then, Hendriks allowed two solo homers without tallying an out during the ninth to complete the collapse. Hendriks is 4-2 with 17 saves and five blown opportunities this year. He also has a 1.77 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 101 strikeouts in 71.1 innings.

Manaea threw five scoreless frames while allowing one hit with three walks and five strikeouts during a no-decision against the Yankees on Sunday.

The 27-year-old and J.A. Happ squared off in an old-fashioned pitcher's duel Sunday with neither starter factoring into the decision. But considering this was Manaea's first start in a year after major shoulder surgery, owners should be pleased with this performance. Manaea's next start lines up for Sunday at home against the Tigers.

Weber was recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket ahead of Sunday's 4-3 win over the Angels. He was the pitcher of record in the contest, tossing two scoreless innings in relief to improve his record to 2-2.

With David Price (wrist) limited to two innings in his return from the 10-day injured list, manager Alex Cora turned to five relievers to close out the contest. Weber was the most impressive of those bullpen arms, permitting only two baserunners while pumping in 20 of his 32 pitches for strikes. Boston will have a need for a fifth starter next weekend against the Yankees, and Weber could gain consideration for the nod in light of his Sunday's performance.

The Red Sox recalled Lakins from Triple-A Pawtucket ahead of Sunday's 4-3 win over the Angels. He worked two innings in relief, giving up two runs on five hits and one walk.

Boston used all four of the pitchers they added to the active roster Sunday in the series finale, with Lakins entering the contest in the third inning following an abbreviated start by David Price (wrist), who was reinstated from the 10-day injured list. Lakins retired only half of the 12 batters he faced, but he showed some resolve in his final inning, inducing a two-out pop out from Mike Trout with runners on the corners to end the Angels' threat.

The Rangers recalled Gibaut from Triple-A Nashville ahead of Sunday's 11-3 loss to the Mariners. He tossed 1.2 innings in relief, giving up a run on two walks and one hit while striking out a batter.

Texas added four pitchers to the roster ahead of Sunday's bullpen game, with all receiving work in their returns to big club. Though Gibaut wasn't especially impressive against Seattle and has just six appearances on his big-league ledger, the gaudy strikeout rates he's posted in the high minors and in his small sample in the majors makes him one of the more intriguing arms in the beleaguered Texas bullpen.

The Mariners reinstated Adams (lat) from the 10-day injured list Sunday. He tossed a scoreless seventh inning in the Mariners' 11-3 win over the Rangers.

Adams struck out two and worked around a base hit and double to lower his ERA to 3.55. The appearance was Adams' first with the Mariners in the second half after a lat strain kept him sidelined for nearly two months. Now that he's healthy again, Adams could gain a foothold in the Mariners' late-inning mix, which has been highly unsettled since Roenis Elias and Hunter Strickland were shipped to Washington on July 31.

The Orioles recalled Scott from Triple-A Norfolk prior to Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Royals.

Scott tallied 23 strikeouts in 17 innings over his 15 appearances with the Orioles earlier this season, but his other ratios (5.29 ERA, 2.18 WHIP) didn't speak well to his performance. Even in AL-only leagues that count holds, Scott seems unlikely to provide much fantasy value down the stretch.
