Kahnle was unavailable for Tuesday's game against the Tigers due to right wrist tendinitis, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

The 30-year-old hasn't pitched since Saturday when he gave up two hits in one-third of an inning. Manager Aaron Boone expects him to be available Wednesday, and per Lindsey Adler of The Athletic, Kahnle said the tendinitis cropped up over the last few days, though it's since cleared up.

Jimenez (4-7) earned the win Tuesday against the Yankees, working a perfect ninth inning with two strikeouts.

That Jimenez worked so efficiently through his inning of work in a game that featured 11 hits and 11 runs by the Yankees is fairly impressive. The righty reliever has been up and down this season, though he's got the closer's role on lock with little competition around him in the Detroit bullpen.

Milner was sent to St. Petersburg to see a specialist after experiencing neck and back discomfort, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

It's unknown when this issue popped up for Milner, but he's unlikely to be available to pitch for at least a week or so. Per Topkin, the discomfort has continued to get worse over the last few days.

Manager AJ Hinch is hopeful to get Pressly (knee) back for "the last 10 days of the season or so," Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.

Pressly was able to complete a bullpen session Sunday, and he figures to continue to ramp up his activity over the next week. The Astros are likely most concerned with getting the right-hander ready for the postseason, but Houston would certainly like him to see major-league action prior to the playoffs if possible.

Harvey has been dealing with soreness and is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Tuesday, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.

Manager Brandon Hyde didn't disclose the location of Harvey's soreness, but the right-hander's side session Tuesday is expected to determine his availability for Baltimore's series against the Dodgers.

Rosa was designated for assignment by the Yankees on Tuesday.

A 40-man spot was needed after Ben Heller (elbow) gained clearance to return from the 60-day IL, and Rosa was the roster casualty. Rosa made one appearance for the big club back in August. He split the bulk of the season between Double-A and Triple-A, posting a 4.18 ERA and 1.35 WHIP across 103.1 total minor-league innings. The 24-year-old will now be subjected to waivers.

Heller (forearm) was activated from the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

The right-hander had been back with the club for a few days and is now officially back on the major-league roster for the first time since undergoing Tommy John surgery early in 2018. Heller pitched brilliantly after resuming a rehab assignment last month, allowing one run on three hits and three walks while fanning 13 in nine innings for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes Barre. On this team, he should be considered on the bubble for 2020.

Jurado is listed as the starter for Wednesday's game against the Rays.

He has been following an opener (Edinson Volquez) of late, but as of Tuesday it seems like Jurado will get a true start in his next outing. The 23-year-old righty has a 5.40 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 78 strikeouts in 116.2 innings this season.

McHugh (elbow) has yet to resume throwing, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

McHugh landed on the 10-day injured list with an elbow issue at the end of August. He reportedly hasn't progressed like the Astros hoped, leaving his potential return date unclear.

Green (3-4) was the pitcher of record in Sunday's 10-5 win over the Red Sox after tossing three perfect innings in relief and striking out five.

Green's ERA still sits at 4.60 after the flawless showing, but the righty has generally performed as expected since the beginning of June. In his 31 appearances over the past three-plus months, Green has supplied a 2.58 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 64 strikeouts in 45.1 innings. The Yankees have deployed him as an opener 13 times this season, and he could fill that role again Tuesday in Detroit. After Sunday's 37-pitch outing, Green probably wouldn't be asked to cover more than an inning or two, however.
