Green and the Yankees reached a one-year, $2.15 million deal Friday, avoiding arbitration, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.

Green showed improvement during the 2020 campaign, logging a 3.51 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 32:8 K:BB over 25.2 innings across 22 relief appearances for the Yankees. He won't require arbitration after reaching a deal prior to Friday's deadline.

Norris and the Tigers agreed to terms on a one-year, $3.475 million deal Friday, avoiding arbitration, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Norris had the best season of his seven-year career in 2020, posting a 3.25 ERA and 1.16 WHIP, though it came in a small sample of just 27.2 innings. That ERA was backed by a solid combination of a 24.1 percent strikeout rate, 6.0 percent walk rate and 55.7 percent groundball rate, setting him up to be a useful member of the Tigers' pitching staff in 2021.

Trivino signed a one-year, $912,500 contract with Oakland on Friday to avoid arbitration, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

The 29-year-old came on strong in 2020 with a 3.86 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 26:10 K:BB across 23.1 innings. Trivino has an outside chance at the closer's role in 2021 following the departure of Liam Hendriks, though Jake Diekman is A's top internal candidate.

Farmer posted his second straight season of competent relief work in 2020, following up his 3.72 ERA from the previous season with a 3.80 mark over 21.1 innings. A big drop in his strikeout rate from 25.3 percent to 15.7 percent casts some doubt on his ability to repeat that number in 2021, however.

Montero and the Mariners avoided arbitration Friday by agreeing to a one-year, $2.25 million deal, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

Montero will nearly triple his $785,000 salary from last season. His 4.08 ERA wasn't anything special, but he picked up his first eight career saves and looks set to pick up several more as the top ninth-inning option for the Mariners this season.

Maton signed a one-year, $975,000 contract with Cleveland on Friday, avoiding arbitration, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Maton doesn't have the requisite saves to get a big payday in arbitration -- his lone career save came in 2017 with San Diego. It seems like he was pretty unlucky last year, as he had a sparkling 27.1 K-BB% and 2.22 FIP, but his 60.1 percent strand rate and .415 BABIP led to a 4.57 ERA. He should work in mid-leverage spots this season.

Manaea signed a one-year, $5.95 million deal with Oakland on Friday to avoid arbitration, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

The two sides were able to reach a deal ahead of Friday's deadline, and the left-hander is now officially under contract for 2021. Manaea had a 4.50 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 45:8 K:BB over 54 innings during 2020 and should enter spring training as a member of the starting rotation.

Lopez and the White Sox agreed to a one-year, $2.1 million deal Friday, avoiding arbitration, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

The 27-year-old righty's breakout failed to arrive in 2020. Instead, he took another step backwards, posting a 6.49 ERA and 1.63 WHIP in eight starts. He struck out a modest 19.8 percent of opposing batters while walking a career-worst 12.4 percent. He'll have to step things up if he's to remain a part of the rotation for the increasingly competitive White Sox.

Mayers signed a one-year, $1.2 million deal with the Angels on Friday to avoid arbitration, Nolan King of USA Today reports.

The 29-year-old took a major step forward during the shortened 2020 campaign and worked in high-leverage spots for the Angels with a 2.10 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 43:9 K:BB, recording two saves and five holds. Raisel Iglesias is poised to operate as the closer, but Mayers should enter spring training as the favorite for the setup role.
