Chapman walked one and struck out two in a scoreless 10th inning Wednesday to record his 20th save of the season in a 3-1 win over the Rays.

He fired only eight of 14 pitches for strikes, but Chapman's dominance continues to compensate for the wavering control. On the season, the veteran closer has a 3.93 ERA and 64:27 K:BB through 36.2 innings while converting 20 of 24 save chances.

Green (4-5) picked up the win in Wednesday's 3-1 extra-inning victory over the Rays after working a perfect ninth inning. He didn't walk or strike out a batter.

After giving up four runs in his final appearance before the All-Star break, Green's struggles have continued into the second half as he'd been tagged for two runs in each of his prior two games before Wednesday's clean effort. The rough patch has inflated his ERA from 2.14 to 3.29, but he still has a strong 58:12 K:BB through 52 frames with three saves and 14 holds in addition to his wins.

Otto was traded from the Yankees to the Rangers on Wednesday along with Trevor Hauver, Josh Smith and Ezequiel Duran in exchange for Joey Gallo and Joely Rodriguez, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Otto is the lone arm headed from the Yankees to the Rangers in the deal. He's spent the season at both the Double and Triple-A affiliates for the Yankees, posting a combined 3.33 ERA with 115 strikeouts across 75.2 innings.

Rodriguez will be traded from the Rangers to the Yankees, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports. Joey Gallo will also be dealt to the Yankees, while the Rangers will acquire Ezequiel Duran, Trevor Hauver, Josh Smith and Glenn Otto.

The Yankees acquired Clay Holmes earlier in the week in an effort to bolster their bullpen. Rodriguez will now further reinforce their pitching depth and provide another lefty for manager Aaron Boone to utilize. Rodriguez will look to improve his results with his new club, as he's struggled to a 5.93 ERA and 1.61 WHIP across 27.1 innings to this point in the campaign.

King (shoulder) is not expected to be traded to the Yankees and will remain with Texas, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

King was originally reported to be traded along with Joey Gallo from the Rangers to the Yankees. However, he is not expected to be a part of a revised version of the deal, with Joely Rodriguez instead being the bullpen arm on the move. King is working his way back from a shoulder injury that landed him on the injured list July 9 and should throw off a mound soon.

Fairbanks was diagnosed with inflammation in his right shoulder after taking the loss in Wednesday's game against the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. He failed to record an out and gave up two runs (one earned) on one hit and a hit batsman.

It was announced after the game that Fairbanks was dealing with a shoulder issue, though this provides a bit more context. More information should be available after Fairbanks is evaluated further Thursday.

Jimenez allowed three runs in an inning of work during Wednesday's win over the Twins. He gave up three hits and a walk while striking out two.

The Tigers prevailed 17-14, so no one really pitched well in this one, and that includes Jimenez. The righty now has a 7.07 ERA this season, and he's clearly fallen behind the likes of Jose Cisnero, Michael Fulmer and Gregory Soto in the Detroit bullpen. That gives Jimenez very little fantasy value unless injuries or trades open up a bigger opportunity later in the year. Even then, the 26-year-old is unlikely to become a trustworthy option anytime soon.

Fairbanks is dealing with a shoulder issue after his appearance Wednesday against the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Fairbanks came on to pitch in the 10th inning and was charged with the loss after allowing two runs (one earned) on one hit. His shoulder issue is the bigger concern, though the team did not share specific details regarding the injury Thursday. Fairbanks has intermittently served as the team's closer, as he's managed five saves to go along with 37 strikeouts across 31 innings on the campaign.

Barnes earned his 23rd save of the season Wednesday, picking up one strikeout in his inning of work.

Barnes hit Lourdes Gurriel Jr. to open the seventh inning but rebounded to fan Randal Grichuk before inducing a double-play ball from Santiago Espinal to close out the nightcap of the doubleheader. Barnes has now strung together seven consecutive outings without allowing an earned run, dropping his ERA to 2.30 on the year. He owns a sparkling 0.81 WHIP in 43 innings overall this season, and opponents are hitting just .164 against the 31-year-old.

Wantz was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Wednesday.

Wantz was promoted for his major-league debut in early July and made four appearances for the Halos, allowing three runs on four hits with nine strikeouts and three walks over 5.1 innings. He'll return to Salt Lake, where he has a 2.10 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 25:6 K:BB across 25.2 innings this season.
