Jackson was credited with his 10th hold in a loss to the Guardians on Thursday, allowing an earned run on a hit and a walk over one-third of an inning.

Jackson's outing wasn't exactly smooth, but after issuing a walk and allowing a single to the first two batters he faced, he was able to induce a fielder's choice groundout from Myles Straw before exiting. Even though one of the runners Jackson put on eventually scored, the Athletics escaped the frame with a tie, affording the right-hander his 10th hold. While Jackson maintains a solid 3.70 ERA, his WHIP has risen to 1.44 and he's now allowed an earned run in four of his last six appearances.

Trivino (1-5) took the loss against the Guardians on Thursday, allowing four earned runs on five hits and a walk over one-third of an inning.

The right-hander has now allowed four earned runs in a relief appearance on two occasions this season, and Thursday's particularly poor effort ballooned his ERA from already ugly 6.91 to 9.20. Entrusted with preserving a 4-4 tie when he entered in the eighth inning, Trivino's nightmare of an outing saw him surrender an infield single, a bunt single on which he committed a throwing error that allowed a run to score and a two-run double. Given his unsteady form for most of the season, Trivino could have trouble seeing further high-leverage usage for the time being.

Sedlock cleared waivers Friday and was assigned to Triple-A Norfolk, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

The reliever was designated for assignment by the Orioles on Friday in order to open a 40-man roster spot for Austin Voth and he will now report to Norfolk after going unclaimed on waivers. Sedlock has produced a 5.56 ERA and 1.50 WHIP with 41 strikeouts over 34 frames in nine appearances at Triple-A this season.

Lambert was called up from Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.

Lambert will return to the majors after being sent down last Friday. In three appearances including two starts with the White Sox this season, the right-hander has produced a 5.14 ERA and 1.71 WHIP with seven strikeouts over seven innings. Gavin Sheets was optioned to Charlotte in a corresponding move Friday.

Then is on the 7-day injured list at Double-A Arkansas with an unspecified elbow injury, Kyle Glaser of Baseball America reports.

He does not have a timeline for a return and has not pitched this season. Then is more likely to be a reliever than a starter at the big-league level and isn't worth stashing in most dynasty formats while he is dealing with an elbow injury.

Staumont struck out one in a perfect inning to earn a hold in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Orioles.

Staumont has settled down lately with a six-inning scoreless streak in his last six appearances. He's allowed three hits and two walks while striking out six in that span. The right-hander has a 3.18 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 30:11 K:BB across 22.2 innings overall. He's added a 2-1 record, three saves, four holds and three blown saves as one of the Royals' primary late-inning options, though Scott Barlow remains the closer. Given the Royals are near the bottom of the overall major-league standings, fantasy managers may want to invest in bullpens with more save chances to go around.

Payamps (2-1) allowed a walk over 1.1 scoreless innings Thursday, earning the win versus the Orioles.

Payamps left Monday's game after getting struck by a line drive on his lower body and didn't pitch Tuesday or Wednesday. He was effective in his return, escaping a jam created by Kris Bubic and Collin Snider in the fifth inning before pitching a clean sixth. Outside of a messy outing May 27 (four runs in two-thirds of an inning), Payamps has been solid as a low-leverage option for the Royals. He has a 2.63 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 18:10 K:BB through 24 innings, and he's yet to allow a home run this season. His 3.8 BB/9 mark is too high, but his 3.02 FIP suggests regression wouldn't have a drastic impact on his numbers.

De Los Santos (1-0) picked up the win Thursday versus the Athletics. He allowed a hit and struck out one without allowing a run in two-thirds of an inning.

De Los Santos has given up just one run on six hits and no walks while striking out 10 over his last nine innings. The right-hander was trusted to pitch in the eighth inning of a tied game Thursday, which shows he's become a reliable part of the Guardians' bullpen. For the season, he has a 2.35 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 21:5 K:BB across 15.1 innings.

Sborz was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Wednesday.

Sborz was with the big club for just one day after Texas designated him as its 27th man for Tuesday's doubleheader with Cleveland. He appeared in the Rangers' 6-3 loss in the first game of the twin bill, working around one hit and one walk to turn in a scoreless inning out of the bullpen.

Pilkington did not factor into the decision Thursday, allowing four runs on four hits and four walks over 5.2 innings against the Athletics. He struck out two.

Pilkington tied his season high with four walks and threw just 45 of 85 pitches for strikes. However, the left-hander was able to limit the damage for the most part and kept Cleveland within striking distance for a late-inning comeback. Across four starts, the rookie sports a 4.51 ERA and 1.81 WHIP with a 20:13 K:BB. His next start is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday's contest in Colorado.
