Harper (wrist) will sit for the third straight game Saturday against the Mets.

Harper hasn't played since taking a fastball off his face and wrist in Wednesday's game against the Cardinals. The Phillies made a set of transactions Saturday which didn't include sending Harper to the injured list, so it appears as though they expect him back on the field soon. Matt Joyce will make another start in right field Saturday.

Reyes was placed on the paternity list Saturday.

Reyes will be able to remain on the paternity list for 1-3 days following the birth of his child. Daniel Johnson was recalled in a corresponding move, and he'll start in right field and lead off against the White Sox on Saturday.

Winker (back) isn't starting Saturday's game against the Cubs.

Winker left Friday's win over the Cubs in the seventh inning due to back tightness. While manager David Bell was originally hopeful that Winker could play Saturday, Tyler Naquin will start in left field and lead off.

Stanton isn't starting Saturday's game against the Tigers.

Stanton had gone 11-for-20 with two extra-base hits, five runs and an RBI in the last four games. Aaron Judge will serve as the designated hitter while Clint Frazier starts in right field.

Buxton went 1-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 9-1 win over the Royals.

Buxton knocked a single in his first at-bat and promptly stole second for his third stolen base of the year. The 27-year-old also made a couple of highlight-reel catches in center field, robbing Andrew Benintendi of two hits and robbing the Royals of putting some more runs on the board. Buxton is making an early MVP case after the first month. He's slashing .426/.466/.897 with eight home runs, 14 RBI and 15 runs scored. He's also one of the faster players in the league, so more steals should come and if he can stay healthy, Buxton could have the chance to be one of the top-performing fantasy players this season.

Alvarez went 2-for-5 with a run scored in Friday's 9-2 win over the Rays.

Alvarez was back in the lineup after missing two games while on the COVID-19 injured list. He's hit safely in three straight games and six of the last seven.

Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's loss to Seattle.

Ohtani took Chris Flexen deep to right field in the third inning to give the Angels a short-lived 3-2 lead. The long ball was his eighth of the season, placing him just one homer behind J.D. Martinez for the league lead. Ohtani is off to a hot start at the plate this season, complementing his homer total with a .283/.320/.652 slash line, three steals, 18 runs and 19 RBI.

Brantley went 4-for-5 with three runs scored and an RBI in Friday's 9-2 win over the Rays.

All four hits were singles, as Brantley paced a 15-hit attack by the Astros. The veteran outfielder wraps up a strong April hitting .345 with two homers, five RBI and 17 runs through 22 games.

Martinez went 3-for-4 with two homers and four RBI in Friday's 6-1 win over Texas.

Martinez entered Friday in a mini 0-for-9 slump over his last three games but quickly put that behind him with a three-run blast in the first inning. He then cranked his second homer in the third, giving him nine long balls and 25 RBI through just 94 at-bats. The 33-year-old had seven home runs and 27 RBI in 211 at-bats during the 2020 season.

Carpenter blasted a pinch-hit three-run home run in Friday's 7-3 win over the Pirates.

Carpenter has now homered as a pinch hitter in each of the last two contests, as he provided the Cardinals with some insurance with his three-run shot in the top of the sixth inning Friday. The 35-year-old hasn't started in any of the last five games and is now hitting .116 with three home runs, 10 RBI and seven runs this season.
