Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD
Angels' Shohei Ohtani: Draws three walks and scores in win
Ohtani went 0-for-2 with three walks and a run scored in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Orioles.
Although Ohtani didn't have a hit in this game, he was still very productive, reaching base three times. He is the hottest hitter in the game right now, and it's clear that pitchers are being very cautious when pitching to him. The 26-year-old is batting .321 with an OPS of 1.522 in his last 16 games. He has 13 home runs, 21 RBI and 11 walks in that stretch. On the season, he is slashing .278/.367/.700 with the most homers in all of baseball (30), 66 RBI and 12 steals in 313 plate appearances.

Ji-Man Choi 1B | NYM
Rays' Ji-Man Choi: On base thrice in loss
Choi went 1-for-1 with two walks in a loss to the Blue Jays on Saturday.
Choi was one of the few offensive bright spots for the spiraling Rays, pushing his season on-base percentage to a career-high .383 by reaching safely three times. The veteran has been particularly productive over the last week, hitting .350 (7-for-20) with a double, a home run, five RBI, three walks and three runs across his last six games.

Nick Solak 1B | PIT
Rangers' Nick Solak: On bench Sunday
Solak is not starting Sunday's game against the Mariners.
Despite an 0-for-3 effort Saturday, the 26-year-old has gone 8-for-29 with a homer and three RBI in his last seven games. Andy Ibanez will start at second base and bat sixth Sunday.
-
Jorge Soler DH | LAA
Royals' Jorge Soler: On bench Sunday
Soler is not starting Sunday's game against the Twins, Joel Goldberg of Bally Sports Kansas City reports.
A 1-for-4 showing Saturday raised the outfielder's 2021 batting average to a still-dismal .185 through 254 at-bats. The power has also escaped Soler's game, as he's gone without a homer in 19 straight games and has hit just six all season. Ryan O'Hearn starts in right field Sunday, with Salvador Perez getting a day at designated hitter.

Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Cubs' Joc Pederson: Sitting versus lefty
Pederson is not in the lineup Sunday against the Reds.
Pederson is 0-for-12 over his past three games and will head to the bench Sunday with southpaw Wade Miley pitching for Cincinnati. Ian Happ will shift to left field while Jake Marisnick starts in center.
-
Michael Brantley LF | HOU
Astros' Michael Brantley: Remains out Sunday
Brantley (side) is not starting Sunday's game against Cleveland and is still considered day-to-day, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Manager Dusty Baker said Brantley will hit in the cage Sunday morning to assess how he's feeling. The skipper added that he's hopeful the veteran slugger will be back in action Tuesday. Before going hitless in his two most recent games, Brantley had hit a ridiculous .421 since returning from the injured list June 8. Taylor Jones gets the start in left field Sunday, with Robel Garcia filling in as the designated hitter.
-
Justin Turner DH | CHC
Dodgers' Justin Turner: On bench Sunday
Turner is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
After a 1-for-4 performance Saturday, Turner has hit .396 with seven runs and seven RBI in his last 13 games. Zach McKinstry starts at third base while Turner sits out the morning contest.

Andrew McCutchen DH | TEX
Phillies' Andrew McCutchen: Swipes sixth base
McCutchen went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks and a stolen base Saturday against the Padres.
McCutchen singled off Yu Darvish in the sixth inning and promptly stole second base before coming in to score on a Rhys Hoskins double. The 34-year-old McCutchen is 6-for-7 on the basepaths this season, with half off those six steals coming in the last seven games. McCutchen has gotten on base at a healthy .352 clip this season -- he leads the Phillies with 48 walks -- and has 13 homers and 41 RBI in 253 at-bats, but his .229 average would be the lowest of his career.
-
Bryce Harper 1B | PHI
Phillies' Bryce Harper: Homers, drives in pair
Harper went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI against the Padres on Saturday.
Harper got the Phillies on the board with a solo homer in the second inning, his 14th round tripper of the season, all of which have been solo blasts. He later broke a 2-2 tie in the sixth when he brought home J.T. Realmuto with a sac fly. Harper is enjoying another standout season -- he's slashing .271/.377/.514 while going a perfect 9-for-9 in stolen bases -- but has only driven in 26 runs in 252 plate appearances.

Luis Torrens DH | NYM
Mariners' Luis Torrens: Riding pine Saturday
Torrens isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rangers.
Torrens had started in each of the last four games, and he went 2-for-15 with a solo home run, two runs scored, an RBI and three walks. Tom Murphy will take his place behind the dish and bat eighth.
