Harold Ramirez DH | WAS
Rays' Harold Ramirez: Hitting well in limited opportunity
Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and an RBI on Tuesday against the Cubs.
Ramirez drove in what would ultimately prove to be the game-winning run in the seventh inning, driving a single into center field to score Randy Arozarena. Ramirez has been a part-time player to begin the campaign, but he has taken advantage of his recent opportunity by collecting three hits in his last 11 at-bats while scoring two runs and driving in two.

Andrew McCutchen DH | TEX
Brewers' Andrew McCutchen: Not starting Wednesday
McCutchen isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Pirates.
McCutchen will get his first off day of the season after going 0-for-5 with a run, two walks and three strikeouts in the last two games. Keston Hiura will serve as the designated hitter and bat seventh.

Eloy Jimenez DH | TOR
White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Tending to sore foot
White Sox manager Tony La Russa said Jimenez is dealing with "a little foot soreness," which likely explains his absence from the lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader in Cleveland, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Jimenez's foot issue was also a factor in the White Sox bringing up Adam Haseley from Triple-A Charlotte as the 29th man for the twin bill rather than reserving that spot for another pitcher. La Russa didn't seem too concerned about Jimenez's injury, so the slugger should be available off the bench for the first game of the doubleheader before potentially starting in the nightcap. The White Sox could look to deploy Jimenez as a designated hitter to limit the strain on his foot.

Eloy Jimenez DH | TOR
White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: On bench for matinee
Jimenez isn't starting the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Guardians.
Jimenez was in the lineup for the three-game series against the Rays over the weekend, and he went 2-for-10 with a walk and four strikeouts. Andrew Vaughn will start in left field while Adam Engel takes over in right.

Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Giants' Joc Pederson: Swats third homer
Pederson went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Mets.
He got the start in left field and batted cleanup in both games, but Pederson found less success in the nightcap, going 0-for-4. The veteran outfielder has had a strong start to the season, slashing .310/.355/.621 through nine games with three solo homers accounting for all his RBI.

Nick Solak 1B | PIT
Rangers' Nick Solak: Gets another start in LF
Solak started in left field and went 0-for-4 in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to Seattle.
Solak made a fourth consecutive start in left field. That's by design whenever the Rangers are facing lefty starters, as they were in three of those four contests, but he also started against a righty because primary left fielder Brad Miller dealt with back tightness over the weekend. Miller returned to action Tuesday as a pinch hitter and played three innings at third base, which suggests he could be ready to go in the outfield Wednesday against Mariners right-hander Logan Gilbert.

Brad Miller DH | SD
Rangers' Brad Miller: Enters as pinch hitter
Miller (back) entered Tuesday's game as a pinch hitter for Charlie Culberson in the seventh inning and singled in his one at-bat, subsequently remaining in the game at third base.
Miller was shelved over the weekend, missing two games with tightness in his back, and he was not in Tuesday's starting lineup against left-hander Robbie Ray. He normally sits against lefties, so it was unsurprising to see him open on the bench, but his appearance as a pinch hitter and a fielder in the game suggests good health. The Mariners are scheduled to throw right-hander Logan Gilbert on Wednesday, so expect Miller to return as the left fielder.

Seth Beer DH | PIT
Diamondbacks' Seth Beer: Starts in field
Beer started at first base and went 2-for-4 with a double in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Nationals.
Beer made his first start of the season in the field, slotting in for Christian Walker, after serving as the designated hitter in his previous five starts. He went back to DH for the second game of the twin bill and went 1-for-3 with a walk. Walker, who entered the day batting .129, returned to first base for the nightcap and went 0-for-3 with a walk.

Daniel Vogelbach DH | TOR
Pirates' Daniel Vogelbach: Homers against former squad
Vogelbach went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Brewers.
The 29-year-old launched a solo shot off his former teammate, Corbin Burnes, in the top of the sixth, putting the Pirates on the board for the first time. Vogelbach has now launched two home runs on the season while batting .323 at the plate.

Mike Ford DH | MIN
Mariners' Mike Ford: Joining major-league club
Ford had his contract selected by the Mariners on Tuesday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Ford joined the Mariners on a minor-league deal in mid-March and was unable to secure a spot on the Opening Day roster. He'll take the place of Luis Torrens (undisclosed), who was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Tuesday.
