Charlie Blackmon RF | COL
Rockies' Charlie Blackmon: Goes deep in win
Blackmon went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Saturday in a win over the Tigers in Game 2 of a doubleheader.
Blackmon's lone hit of the game was a big one, as his long ball accounted for the Rockies' final two runs and proved to be the difference in the eventual victory. The veteran outfielder is off to a slow start this season with a .227/.306/.409 slash line, but he does have four extra-base hits (two homers, two doubles) and six RBI over 51 plate appearances.

Miguel Cabrera DH | DET
Tigers' Miguel Cabrera: Reaches milestone in easy win
Cabrera went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in a 13-0 win over the Rockies in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader.
Cabrera made history in the first inning, when his single against Colorado starter Antonio Senzatela gave him 3,000 for his storied career. The veteran slugger became just the seventh player in MLB history with 3,000 hits and 500 home runs. Cabrera is no longer the dominant force he once was, though he does have a solid .326 batting average so far this season, giving him some fantasy utility in deep leagues.

Eloy Jimenez DH | TOR
White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Suffers serious injury
Jimenez (hamstring) suffered a "significant" injury Saturday, but it is not expected to end his season, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.
Jimenez was carted off the field after landing awkwardly on first base while running out a groundball. Though no formal move has been made, it appears a certainty that Jimenez will land on the injured list. Andrew Vaughn's at-bats look more secure, and Gavin Sheets could see a significant uptick in playing time with Jimenez out.

Mark Canha LF | TEX
Mets' Mark Canha: Takes seat Saturday
Canha is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks.
Canha started three straight games after being reinstated from the COVID-19 IL, and he will get a breather Saturday night. Jeff McNeil will start in left field in Canha's place, and Robinson Cano will take over for McNeil at the keystone.

White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Exits with injury
Jimenez left Saturday's game against the Twins in the second inning with an apparent leg injury, Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com reports.
It's not immediately clear what type of injury Jimenez is dealing with, but he fell to the ground after landing awkwardly on first base while running out a groundball and was taken off the field on a cart. His status will be updated again when more details are released.

Jesse Winker DH | NYM
Mariners' Jesse Winker: Not in Saturday's lineup
Winker is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals.
Winker has gone just 3-for-28 (.107) since his first day off of the season, so he will get another chance to clear his head Saturday. Dylan Moore will get the nod in left field in Winker's place.

J.D. Martinez DH | NYM
Red Sox's J.D. Martinez: Remains sidelined
Martinez (groin) remains on the bench for Saturday's game against the Rays, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.
Martinez left Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays with left adductor tightness and hasn't made an appearance since. He was reportedly available to pinch hit if needed Friday, which suggests he'll be available in the same capacity Saturday, but it's not clear when he's expected back in the lineup.

Charlie Blackmon RF | COL
Rockies' Charlie Blackmon: Out against southpaw
Blackmon is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Tigers.
The veteran outfielder is hitting .225/.311/.350 with one home run in 40 at-bats. His absence could be related to the Tigers starting lefty Tarik Skubal. Randal Grichuk is starting in right field while Yonathan Daza enters the lineup in center field.
