Stanton (Achilles) will start a rehab assignment Saturday with Double-A Somerset, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

It's not clear how many games Stanton will need to log in the minors before rejoining the big-league lineup. The right-handed slugger has not played since July 23 and is hitting .228/.309/.498 with 24 home runs in 80 games.

Canha isn't starting Friday against the Phillies.

Canha is getting a breather after he went 4-for-6 with a home run, three doubles, three RBI and two runs over the last two games. Tyler Naquin will take his place in left field and bat seventh.

Martinez is not in the starting lineup Friday against the Orioles, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Martinez will get a day off after he went 3-for-8 with five walks and three runs during a three-game series with the Pirates. Rob Refsnyder will replace him at designated hitter and bat seventh in the series opener.

Ozuna was arrested for driving under the influence Friday morning, Marly Rivera of ESPN.com reports.

Ozuna was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail on Friday for DUI and Failure to Maintain Lane, and he was released on bond a few hours later. It's his second arrest in as many years, as he was charged with felony assault last year and was ultimately suspended by Major League Baseball. His status for Atlanta's weekend series against the Astros isn't yet clear.

McCutchen went 2-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI and three runs scored Thursday against the Dodgers.

McCutchen took Andrew Heaney yard on both occasions, bringing his homer total on the campaign to 13. Entering Thursday's game, McCutchen had just two homers and a .232 average across 22 games since the All-Star break. For the season, he owns a .253/.322/.406 line across 438 plate appearances.

Blackmon's early exit in Thursday's 13-0 loss to the Cardinals is being attributed to a hamstring injury, Nick Groke of The Athletic reports.

Blackmon appeared to tweak his hamstring while running out an infield single in his lone plate appearance of the day in the top of the first inning. He played defense in the bottom of the inning before he was ultimately replaced by Wynton Bernard in right field an inning later. After the game, manager Bud Black told Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post that he believes Blackmon will be OK in a couple of days, so Blackmon is seemingly on track to avoid a trip to the injured list but doubtful to return to the lineup for Friday's series opener with the Giants.

Ramirez isn't starting Thursday against the Royals, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Ramirez started the last two games after returning from the IL, and he went 2-for-9 with a solo home run and a strikeout. However, David Peralta will serve as the designated hitter while Roman Quinn starts in right field Thursday.

Vogelbach is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against Atlanta.

The lefty-hitting Vogelbach will bow out of starting nine with Atlanta bringing southpaw Max Fried to the hill. Platoon mate Darin Ruf will replace Vogelbach in the lineup, starting at first base and batting fifth.

The Phillies transferred Harper (thumb) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Thursday.

Harper isn't dealing with any setback in his recovery from the surgery he underwent in late June for his fractured left thumb, but since his return isn't imminent the Phillies opted to move him to the 60-day IL to open up a 40-man roster spot for waiver pickup Bradley Zimmer. Though Harper recently had his throwing program shut down and appears unlikely to be ready to play the outfield again this season while recovering from a torn ligament in his right elbow, he's still on track to rejoin the Phillies as a full-time designated hitter, likely on or around Sept. 1. He's scheduled to take another round of batting practice at some point this weekend, and if all goes well, he could head out on a minor-league rehab assignment as soon as next Tuesday.

Blackmon appeared to tweak something while running out an infield hit during his lone plate appearance, and he was replaced in the field after remaining in the game for one more inning. The 36-year-old should be considered day-to-day until more information is available.
