Pederson is out of the lineup Sunday against the Marlins.

Pederson has made back-to-back starts in center field, but with the Dodgers scheduled to face left-hander Chris O'Grady on Sunday, he will take a seat for the first time since the All-Star break. Trayce Thompson will man center field in his stead, giving their lineup another right-handed bat.

Cespedes (hip) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rockies.

Cespedes injured his hip while making a diving attempt for a foul ball Saturday, adding another ailment to his laundry list of injuries this season. As expected, the Mets will take a conservative approach Sunday, holding out Cespedes so he can be further evaluated. Curtis Granderson will start in the outfield spot that Cespedes vacated. Consider him day-to-day, though Mike Puma of the New York Post reports that manager Terry Collins expects him to start Monday's game.

Manager Terry Collins said Cespedes "felt something in his hip" which caused him to exit Saturday's contest, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

It appears a new ailment has popped up in what has already been an injury-filled season for the 31-year-old outfielder. Cespedes was forced to leave Saturday's win over the Rockies after making an awkward attempt at a diving catch and, although he was able to walk off under his own power, will be re-evaluated Sunday. Curtis Granderson would likely be in line for a starting role if the injury proves extensive.

Cespedes exited Saturday's game against the Rockies in the sixth inning after attempting to dive for a flyball in left field, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Cespedes, who has already missed extensive time this season due to leg injuries, attempted an awkward-looking dive on a Nolan Arenado liner, prompting an immediate exit. Expect more information to be released in due time regarding the severity, though it is worth noting the slugger was able to walk off under his own power. Michael Conforto moved over to take his spot in left and Curtis Granderson was inserted as the new center fielder.

Martinez went 3-for-5 with a double, a homer and five RBI on Saturday against the Blue Jays.

Martinez's 15 home run of the campaign capped off the scoring as the Tigers exploded for 11 runs in a home victory. Despite missing more than a month to start the season, Martinez hasn't missed a beat, as he's slashing .306/.384/.622 and providing fantasy owners with elite-level production.

Cabrera went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, a walk and three runs against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Cabrera's big day was part of an 11-run effort in an easy Tigers win. Although he's struggling with a .267 batting average along with a .448 slugging percentage, this is just the type of game that the slugger needed to potentially start a hot streak.

Vargas (foot) is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against Houston, LaVelle E. Neal of the Star Tribune reports.

Vargas was forced to leave Friday's contest with a foot contusion, but was able to avoid any structural damage as the X-rays came back negative. With Joe Mauer (back) returning from the DL prior to Saturday's game, Vargas will take the day off and rest his foot. Although the disabled list remains a possibility, it seems as though Vargas will remain day-to-day, stating that he was "ready to go" after testing his foot before the game.

Buxton (groin) was placed on the 10-day disabled list prior to Saturday's game against the Astros.

Buxton exited Friday's game with a left groin strain. It didn't appear as though the injury was a major setback, so the center fielder should be able to return from the DL when he's eligible, but it was enough to force him out of the lineup for an extended period of time. In his place, Eddie Rosario will likely take over in left field while Zack Granite gets a fair share of starts in center field.

Pederson batted sixth and went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of runs scored in Friday's 6-4 win over the Marlins.

A long layoff due to the All-Star Game didn't cool off the young slugger's bat, as Friday's performance boosted his slash line to .315/.438/.699 with seven home runs in the 25 games since returning from the disabled list June 13. He is unlikely to keep that pace going throughout the entire second half of the season, but Pederson does provide cheap pop while batting in a dangerous lineup.

Miller went 1-for-4 with a go-ahead RBI double in Friday's 2-1 extra-inning victory over the Angels.

The slugging infielder's two-bagger to deep center in the 10th plated Wilson Ramos with what turned out to be the winning run, extending his hitting streak since returning from the disabled list to four games in the process. Miller seems like a different hitter since coming back from a 27-game absence due to his groin injury, compiling a .385 average, .506 wOBA and 50.0 percent hard-contact rate in those four contests.
