Torrens was recalled by the Padres on Monday.

Torrens struggled greatly in his first taste of the big leagues back in 2017, hitting .163/.243/.203 in 56 games, though that's hardly a surprise for a 21-year-old plucked straight out of Low-A in the Rule 5 draft. Back at an age-appropriate level, he posted a strong .300/.373/.500 slash line for Double-A Amarillo this season. He should get a handful of looks down the stretch as an audition for next season.

Colon's contract was purchased from Triple-A Louisville on Monday.

The 30-year-old has 142 big-league games under his belt for the Royals and Marlins, though none have come since 2017. He owns a .252/.315/.315 career slash line with just a single home run. He recorded a .300/.372/.443 slash line in 136 games for Louisville this season (good for a 110 wRC+), though he's unlikely to be anything more than a bench option over the final two weeks of the season.

Collins is not in the lineup Monday against the Twins.

Collins has been getting frequent starts as either a catcher or a designated hitter this September, though he hasn't done much at the plate, hitting .161 with a .536 OPS. He does at least have three hits over his last two games. James McCann will catch Monday, with Jose Abreu serving as the designated hitter and Matt Skole playing first base.

Jimenez went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and an RBI in Sunday's 11-10 loss to the Mariners.

Jimenez's late-season surge has shown no signs of ending yet, as he's now put together a seven-game hit streak during which he's collected three home runs and two doubles. So long as his health holds up, Jimenez should have a good chance at joining the Mets' Pete Alonso as the lone members of this year's rookie class in the 30-homer club.

Stanton (knee) is unlikely to play when the Yankees kick off their next homestand Tuesday, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Manager Aaron Boone indicated that Stanton did well in his final simulated game Saturday but stated that he "wouldn't expect" the slugger to be in the lineup at home against the Angels on Tuesday. However, Boone did confirm that Stanton should be back in action at some point during the homestand that runs through Sunday. Stanton is expected to play left field on a regular basis upon his return.

Cabrera (knee) returns to the lineup Monday against the Orioles.

The knee issue that forced Cabrera to leave Saturday's game was evidently not particularly serious, as he's back in action following just a one-game absence. He's expected to battle a chronic problem in his right knee for the rest of his career, though, so expect many similar absences in the future. For what it's worth, Cabrera told Jason Beck of MLB.com on Monday that he'll play during the remaining two weeks of the season before consulting with knee specialists over the winter to determine the best course of treatment for his condition.

Lewis went 3-for-6 with a homer, a double, three RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 11-10 win over the White Sox.

Lewis' three-run shot in the eighth inning cut the Mariners' lead to just one run. The rookie outfielder has already launched four homers with two doubles and nine RBI in his first six MLB contests.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts reported after their win Sunday that Turner (ankle) may actually not end up starting Tuesday because his left ankle is still sore, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Earlier in the day Sunday, Turner appeared all set to return to the Dodgers' starting lineup Tuesday, but he's still having some trouble with his sprained left ankle. He's expected to be evaluated Monday during the Dodgers' off day, and manager Dave Roberts will make a corresponding decision on his status for Tuesday's game. With the Dodgers already having clinched a division title and on their way to clinching the best record in the National League, they're not in a rush to bring Turner back and risk further injury.

Turner (ankle) is expected to start Tuesday in the series opener against Tampa Bay after missing a week with a left ankle sprain, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Turner, who has not played since Sept. 7, has been nursing a mildly sprained ankle, though he's expected to resurface at the start of the next series. The Dodgers already have the division and the best overall record in the National League locked up and do not have an overwhelmingly difficult schedule to end the season. With that being said, Turner may rest more than he's used to in order to get him to full strength for the playoffs. The Dodgers have plenty of depth all around the infield and should not try and risk their star third baseman's health. Blake Snell (elbow) is in line to start Tuesday as he makes his return from the injured list, which could serve as a tough matchup for Turner and company.

Harper was ejected from Sunday's game against the Red Sox, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Harper was tossed from the dugout during the fourth inning as he voiced his displeasure with a called third strike earlier in the frame. The 26-year-old finishes his afternoon 0-for-2 with two strikeouts and is 8-for-39 so far in September.
