Brandon Belt DH | TOR
Giants' Brandon Belt: Feeling better Wednesday
Belt (quadriceps) is feeling better Wednesday, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Belt left Tuesday's game against the Phillies due to right quadriceps soreness and is still being examined Wednesday. However, manager Gabe Kapler is hopeful that Belt could be available off the bench for Wednesday's series finale against Philadelphia. If Belt is ultimately held out of the lineup, Wilmer Flores or Darin Ruf could fill in at first base.

Bryce Harper DH | PHI
Phillies' Bryce Harper: Reaches base four times
Harper went 2-for-3 with two walks and two runs scored in Tuesday's 10-7 loss to the Giants.
Both of Harper's hits went for singles but he continued his hot streak at the plate. He's slashed .692/.765/.1.077 with one home run, three RBI and four runs scored while also posting a 4:1 BB:K over his last four games. He'll look to keep things rolling and help the Phillies avoid the sweep in Wednesday's series finale against Anthony DeSclafani.

Brad Miller DH | SD
Phillies' Brad Miller: Hits three-run homer
Miller went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Tuesday's 10-7 loss to the Giants.
Miller missed on a big run-scoring opportunity in the first when he grounded into a bases-loaded 4-6-3 double play to end the inning. The 31-year-old redeemed himself his next time up after sending a three-run drive deep to right to put the Phillies up 4-0. The long ball was his first of the season and just his third hit overall in 14 at-bats, as he's spent the majority of the early campaign filling a bench role.

Alex Dickerson DH | ATL
Giants' Alex Dickerson: Swats three-run homer
Dickerson went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Tuesday's 10-7 win over the Phillies.
Dickerson was quiet most of the game but came up big in the eighth when he demolished a three-run homer to right to give the Giants their first lead of the night at 7-6. The 31-year-old is slashing just .190/.277/.405 with three home runs, eight RBI and five runs scored, but he has hit safely in four of the last five games and seems to finally be finding some consistency as the plate.

Brandon Belt DH | TOR
Giants' Brandon Belt: Nursing tight quad
Belt was removed from Tuesday's win over the Phillies with tightness in his right quadriceps, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
The 33-year-old went 0-for-4 with a walk, a run and two strikeouts before being lifted during the latter stages of the contest. Belt will be reevaluated Wednesday morning and could receive the day off, especially since the series finale is a day game.

Matt Carpenter DH | STL
Cardinals' Matt Carpenter: Takes seat Tuesday
Carpenter is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
Tommy Edman will move from right field to second base while Carpenter heads to the bench for only the second time in seven games. With Tyler O'Neill (groin) and Harrison Bader (forearm) both on the injured list, Edman will be needed in the outfield more frequently in the short term, so Carpenter should see steady work at second base. The veteran is sitting on a .419 OPS and 35.9 percent strikeout rate through 39 plate appearances, but a 26.3 percent barrel rate and 68.4 percent hard-hit rate -- both which rank in the top one percent of all players -- suggest that better days could be ahead for Carpenter.

Bryce Harper DH | PHI
Phillies' Bryce Harper: Three more hits Monday
Harper went 3-for-4 with a stolen base in Monday's 2-0 loss to the Giants.
All three knocks were singles, but Harper couldn't convert them into further production aside from his first steal of the year, as the rest of the Phillies' lineup managed only four hits in total. Nonetheless, Harper is off to a fast start in 2021, slashing .327/.459/.571 through 15 games with three homers, seven RBI and nine runs.

Brandon Belt DH | TOR
Giants' Brandon Belt: Supplies only offense in win
Belt went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 2-0 win over the Phillies.
A Chase Anderson curveball caught too much of the plate in the third inning, and Belt launched it over the fence in right field -- the only real mistake made by a pitcher on either squad all night. The veteran first baseman has three home runs on the year, all of which have come in the last eight games as he climbs out of an early season hole, but his .211/.318/.500 slash line shows he still has more work to do.

Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT
Braves' Marcell Ozuna: Reaches base four times in win
Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a pair of walks, two runs and an RBI in Sunday's 13-4 win over the Cubs.
Though he didn't slug one of Atlanta's five home runs on the night, Ozuna got on base enough to benefit from the team's offensive onslaught. After a sluggish start to the season, Ozuna looked dialed in at the plate throughout the three-game series in Chicago, producing a 1.100 OPS and a 3:3 BB:K.
