Ji-Man Choi 1B | NYM
Rays' Ji-Man Choi: Plates three in series finale
Choi went 1-for-4 with three RBI on Sunday in the 8-7 loss to the White Sox.
Choi drove in a run on a sacrifice fly in the third inning, and he hit a two-run single in the seventh to tie the game 6-6. The 27-year-old first baseman recorded his first base knock of the month in August and stands 1-for-10 with a walk, three RBI and five strikeouts over three games. Choi is batting .230 with a .707 OPS through 25 contests in the big leagues this season.

Eloy Jimenez DH | TOR
White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Battling flu-like symptoms
Jimenez was held out of Sunday's minor-league action due to illness, James Fegan of The Athletic Chicago reports.
Chicago's top prospect isn't expected to remain out of the lineup for long, and he'll be considered day-to-day moving forward. Jimenez appears primed for a September callup, as he's been tearing the cover off the ball at Triple-A Charlotte. He's slashing .376/.425/.679 with eight homers and 18 RBI through 29 games.

Mark Canha LF | TEX
Athletics' Mark Canha: Checks back in lineup
Canha (illness) will start in left field and bat fifth Sunday against the Tigers, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
Canha didn't appear in Saturday's 2-1 victory after he was scratched from the lineup due to the illness. Given that he'll be in action 24 hours later, it doesn't appear that whatever was ailing Canha was anything too worrisome.

Giancarlo Stanton DH | NYY
Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Bangs out two doubles
Stanton went 2-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Red Sox.
Four of the slugger's last five hits have gone for extra bases (three doubles and a homer), and Stanton now sports a .279/.342/.513 slash line on the year. He's already cranked at least 25 home runs for the fifth straight season and the seventh time in total, and he needs just eight more homers to reach 300 for his career.

Michael Brantley LF | HOU
Indians' Michael Brantley: Reaches base three times
Brantley went 1-for-2 with two walks and an RBI on Saturday against the Angels.
Brantley reached base three times to continue his productive weekend series against the Angels. He has an RBI in each game and has reached base four times in nine plate appearances. Though his power has slipped as the season has progressed, Brantley should bat close to .300 and still has the opportunity to drive in and score 80 runs.

Mark Canha LF | TEX
Athletics' Mark Canha: Out with illness
Canha was scratched Saturday due to an illness, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
The seriousness of the sickness is not yet clear. Ramon Laureano will start in his place and could be in line to start again if he remains out Sunday.

Mark Canha LF | TEX
Athletics' Mark Canha: Scratched from lineup Saturday
Canha was scratched from Saturday's lineup against the Tigers for an undisclosed reason, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
If Canha is battling an injury, reports should soon make that clear. Ramon Laureano will be the new center fielder.

Michael Brantley LF | HOU
Indians' Michael Brantley: Records 58th RBI
Brantley went 1-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored Friday in the loss to the Angels.
Brantley doubled home a run in the first inning to get Cleveland on the board, but they'd drop the series opener 7-4. After hitting seven home runs in May, Brantley's power numbers have dropped off, as he's slugged just three home runs over the past two months. Despite this, he's remained productive at the dish, collecting 58 RBI with a .294 average through 96 games in 2018.

Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD
Angels' Shohei Ohtani: Homers twice vs. Indians
Ohtani went 4-for-5 with two home runs, three RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base Friday in the win over Cleveland.
Ohtani launched the first two road home runs of his MLB career in Friday's series opener. He's slugged four home runs and driven in six RBI over his previous 10 games, and he's hitting .272 with 25 extra-base hits and 28 RBI through 58 games this season, despite playing through an elbow injury.

Giancarlo Stanton DH | NYY
Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Blasts 25th home run
Stanton went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in the 15-7 loss to Boston on Thursday.
Stanton also whiffed twice Thursday, bringing him to 142 strikeouts this season, and inching him closer to his career high of 170 set in 2014. The 28-year-old is up to 25 homers and 66 RBI, but those still feel like disappointing numbers after he slugged 59 long balls and 132 RBI with the Marlins last season.
