Jimenez went 2-for-4 with a home run in Friday's 4-3 win over the Tigers.

Jimenez bailed out the White Sox, who were down 3-0 and being no-hit entering the bottom of the sixth inning. The American League's best offense scratched out a run before Jimenez launched a three-run homer, and three relievers closed out the win. The blast was Jimenez's 12th, though just his first in his last 12 games.

Cabrera went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in a 4-3 loss to the White Sox on Friday.

Cabrera got on base twice and was able to rack up a rare stolen base on a sixth-inning wild pitch by Lucas Giolito. The 37-year-old is hitting .241/.322/.354 with five home runs and 22 RBI as the team's designated hitter this season.

Buxton went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and a run scored Friday as he helped the Twins to a 3-1 lead over the Indians.

Buxton took advantage of a hanging slider from Shane Bieber for a 2-run homer in the second to give the Twins an early 2-0 lead. The speedy outfielder is hitting .244/.247/.500 with seven home runs and 17 RBI across 90 at-bats this season.

Canha went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, a stolen base and a run in a win over the Astros on Thursday.

It was one of Canha's more productive outings in quite some time, as the veteran had been mired in a 1-for-20 eight-game stretch before also lacing a two-bagger in Wednesday's contest. The quick 3-for-8 surge is modest, but it offers fantasy managers some solace after the aforementioned dry spell. Despite recent struggles, Canha still sports an elite .395 on-base percentage thanks in large part to his career-high 15.1 percent walk rate.

Martinez is not in the lineup Friday against the Rays, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Martinez is 0-for-16 with seven strikeouts and one walk over the past four games, so he'll take a seat for Friday's contest. Kevin Plawecki (hand) will bat fifth as the designated hitter in Tampa Bay.

Stanton (hamstring) has a good chance to return from the injured list by next weekend, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Stanton is expected to receive some at-bats at the Yankees' alternate training site within the next few days, with an eye toward returning soon after that. The oft-injured outfielder played in just 14 games this season before straining his hamstring, though he looked as good as ever over that stretch, hitting .293/.453/.585.

Choi is not in Thursday's lineup against the Red Sox.

He will take a seat with a lefty (Mike Kickham) on the mound for Boston. Mike Brosseau will start at first base and bat fourth.

Ohtani is not in Thursday's lineup against the Rangers.

He is usually in the lineup against righties, so it's a little odd that he will sit this one out with Kyle Gibson on the hill for Texas, but Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports that it's just a regular day off. Matt Thaiss gets the start at designated hitter and will bat second.

Torrens went 2-for-4 with a double and a run in a loss to the Giants on Tuesday.

The recently acquired backstop, much like former Padres teammate and fellow trade-deadline arrival Ty France, is thriving in his new Seattle digs. Torrens has now hit safely in three straight games, with Tuesday's double marking his first extra-base hit in a Mariners uniform. Overall, Torrens has reached safely in all four games of his tenure with his new squad, scoring twice along the way.

Lewis went 2-for-5 and added a stolen base in Tuesday's loss against the Giants.

Lewis got off to a strong start this season but has crashed down to earth over the last few weeks, and he is hitting just .171 with a .618 OPS, two home runs and three RBI over his last 10 games. In fact, this was his first multi-hit game since Aug. 22, when he produced three knocks against the Rangers.
