Wynns was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday.
Wynns was called up to replace Jesus Sucre, who was designated for assignment. He had been playing well in the minors early on this season, combining to hit .333/.487/.400 across 39 plate appearances between Double and Triple-A action. Wynns got his first taste of the major leagues in 2018 and managed to record a .255 average with four home runs across 118 plate appearances. He figures to get considerable playing time behind the plate for the Orioles.

Sanchez received the day off for the series opener but returned to the lineup in a big way Saturday. The 26-year-old is slashing .231/.310/.654 with seven home runs and 15 RBI in only 52 at-bats.

Stallings (neck) will begin a minor-league rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, John Perrotto of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Stallings is dealing with a cervical neck strain. It's not clear when he's expected to return, but he won't have a major-league roster spot to come back to, as Elias Diaz is back as the backup catcher after missing an extended period due to illness.

While Perez gets the day off, Kevin Plawecki will assume catching duties and bat eighth. The two have shared the workload fairly evenly in 2019, with Perez starting 17 games and Plawecki 12.

The 26-year-old will receive the day off as Francisco Mejia will start at catcher and bat eighth. Mejia hasn't started in back-to-back games so far this season, so Hedges will probably return to the lineup Sunday.

White Sox's James McCann: Hits fourth again
McCann batted cleanup for a second straight game and went 2-for-4 with with two runs scored and a stolen base in Friday's 12-11 win over the Tigers.
It looks like having McCann hit out of the cleanup spot is more than a one-game thing for the catcher, who is 5-for-9 batting fourth. He might have had more chances for RBI had not Tim Anderson (two RBI) and Jose Abreu (five RBI) ahead of him done such a good job with men on base. Yonder Alonso had been batting cleanup but was dropped to seventh in the order Friday. McCann currently has a .944 OPS, 282 points higher than his career OPS.
