Narvaez is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Cubs, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Narvaez will hit the bench for Wednesday's series finale after starting the previous two games behind the dish, going 1-for-4 with a trio of walks and a run scored in those contests. Tom Murphy is starting at catcher and hitting seventh in place of Narvaez in this one.

Bemboom (thumb) was reinstated from Triple-A Durham's 7-day injured list and went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 9-5 loss to Norfolk.

Sidelined in mid-March after requiring surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb, Bemboom remained at extended spring training until late April before heading to High-A Charlotte for a three-game rehab stint. After reporting no setbacks during the rehab stint, Bemboom rejoined Durham this week and should handle No. 2 catching duties behind Nick Ciuffo.

Wynns is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader against the White Sox, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Wynns will give way to Pedro Severino behind the dish for the first half of Wednesday's twin bill. Look for the backstop to rejoin the starting lineup for Game 2.

Jansen is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Angels.

Jansen started four of the last six games but will head to the bench for the second straight contest Tuesday. Luke Maile will grab another start behind the plate and bat ninth.

Mejia is in the lineup, catching and hitting eighth against the Braves on Tuesday.

Austin Hedges will head to the bench to make way for Mejia. The 23-year-old has appeared in 13 games so far this season, hitting a meager .158 in 38 at-bats.

Vazquez isn't starting Tuesday's game against the Athletics, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Vazquez has registered a base knock in four of his last five matchups, but he'll take a seat for the second game of the series. Sandy Leon draws the start behind the plate and will bat ninth.

Hedges is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Braves.

Hedges remains the primary catcher in San Diego, starting 19 games compared to 11 for Francisco Mejia. Hedges has struggled at the plate, hitting .175/.235/.381, but Mejia has done even worse, posting a .158/.220/.237 line, so there's little reason to believe a change is imminent.

Gomes isn't starting Tuesday against the Cardinals.

Gomes went 1-for-3 with a walk in Monday's series opener, but he'll get the night off Tuesday. Kurt Suzuki is starting behind the dish and will bat fifth.

Barnhart is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets.

Barnhart had been behind the plate for each of the past three days, so he'll just be picking up a routine breather in the second game of the series. Curt Casali checks in at catcher and as the No. 5 hitter in the lineup.

McCann went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Monday's 5-3 win over Baltimore on Monday.

McCann has been great this season while splitting time with Welington Castillo behind the plate. He owns a .936 OPS with nine runs scored in 60 plate appearances. With four multi-hit games in his last five appearances, McCann's playing time should be on the rise.
