Wong will be sidelined for a few days by a hamstring injury, Joe McDonald of the Worcester Telegram & Gazette reports.

The 24-year-old suffered the injury during Tuesday's contest and will be held out for at least a couple days. It doesn't appear to be a serious issue, so Wong should be able to avoid the injured list.

Narvaez (hamstring) will likely be activated this week, Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports.

Minnaert reports that Narvaez will likely be activated on this homestand, which runs through the end of the week. He hit on the field prior to Tuesday's game. Narvaez is hitting .368/.443/.529 through 22 games.

Higashioka will sit Tuesday against Tampa Bay.

Higashioka looked to be taking over the starting role behind the plate in late April, starting five games out of seven from April 27 through May 4. Since that point, he's started just two games out of six. Gary Sanchez, who starts there Tuesday, could potentially continue to claw back playing time moving forward.

Garver is not starting Tuesday against the White Sox.

Garver left Friday's game against the Tigers with right shoulder inflammation and was on the bench Saturday, though he did appear as a pinch hitter and drew a walk. He was scheduled to return to the lineup Sunday, but the game got postponed due to rain. Ben Rortvedt will start behind the plate Tuesday.

Jansen is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against Atlanta.

Jansen will hit the bench for the second straight game and the third straight day, as the Blue Jays had an off day Monday. It's not clear whether he's dealing with an injury or simply being rested. Reese McGuire will start behind the plate in his absence.

Rangers manager Chris Woodward said Trevino is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Giants due to a sore right triceps, Chris Halicke of SI.com reports.

The injury explains why Trevino is sitting for a second straight day after he and Jonah Heim had been alternating starts at catcher for more than a week. The Rangers don't believe Trevino's injury is anything serious, and Woodward is hopeful the backstop will be ready to return to the lineup following Wednesday's team off day.

Trevino is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Giants.

Trevino and Jonah Heim had been alternating turns behind the plate throughout May, but Heim will pick up a second straight start Tuesday for the first time this month. The Rangers' catching situation bears monitoring over the next few days, as it's possible that Heim has moved ahead of Trevino as the team's preferred backstop.

Stallings went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's loss to the Reds.

Stallings was one of the lone bright spots for Pittsburgh in a 14-1 blowout, as he left the yard in the bottom of the second inning for his club's only run on the evening. The backstop is now 6-for-21 with four extra-base hits and three RBI through seven contests in May.

Stassi (concussion) is feeling better but does not yet have a clear timeframe for a return, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Stassi went on the seven-day injured list May 6 after running into a stanchion during a game and subsequently exhibiting concussion symptoms. He spoke to manager Joe Maddon before Monday's contest but remains without a definite return date.

Barnhart went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored Monday against the Pirates.

Barnhart knocked in a pair of runs in the fourth inning on a double to left center, increasing his club's lead to four. He would register his second double of the contest later on off Luis Oviedo. The backstop has been rock solid at the dish for the Reds in the early going of the 2021 campaign, hitting .307 with three home runs and 13 RBI through 25 contests.
