Stassi went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Royals.

Stassi took Kris Bubic deep in the third inning Tuesday. The catcher has homered in each of his last three games that he started. He was rewarded by batting cleanup for the first time this year. The 30-year-old has been hot since coming off the injured list June 1, with nine hits in his last 19 plate appearances. He is slashing .333/.396/.625 with four homers, eight RBI and 12 runs in just 14 starts this season.

Sanchez went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in an 8-4 win over the Twins on Tuesday.

Sanchez delivered a two-run blast in the ninth inning, doubling the Yankees' previous two-run lead. The long ball was the seventh of the season for the backstop, who is heating up at the plate following a cold start to the campaign. Over his past 11 games, Sanchez is batting .353 (12-for-34) with two homers, three doubles and six RBI.

Contreras went 1-for-4 with a solo home run as Chicago beat San Diego, 7-1 on Tuesday.

Contreras opened the scoring with a 419-foot bomb to left off starter Dinelson Lamet but failed to make any other offensive impact. The home run ended an 0-for-11 skid for the backstop as a starter and he's now slashing a quality .245/.341/.435 in 55 games.

Haase went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's win over the Mariners.

Manager A.J. Hinch said before the game that Haase was in line for a larger role, and the 28-year-old responded with another good performance and his eighth home run of the season. With Wilson Ramos (spine) and Grayson Greiner (hamstring) both out, Haase should continue to see time at catcher, along with Jake Rogers. Haase can also play in the outfield, and if he's playing regularly and hitting like this, he's worth a flier in fantasy leagues.

Perez launched a solo home run in his only at-bat during Tuesday's loss to the Dodgers.

With the Pirates trailing 5-2 in the ninth inning, Perez pinch hit in the pitcher's slot and cranked a long ball against Nate Jones. After a slow start to the season for Perez, Jacob Stallings is the leading backstop in Pittsburgh, but the former has been heating up a bit lately, hitting .300/.300/.800 with three homers across his last 20 plate appearances.

Plawecki was removed from Tuesday's game against the Astros with a jaw contusion, Julian McWilliams of The Boston Globe reports.

The 30-year-old suffered the jaw bruise when he was struck by a foul tip during the fourth inning. Plawecki should be considered day-to-day, while Christian Vazquez has taken over behind the plate for the Red Sox.

Plawecki exited Tuesday's game against the Astros after being hit in the mask by a foul tip, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

The 30-year-old likely will be evaluated for a concussion after being struck by the foul tip during the fourth inning. Plawecki hit a single in his lone plate appearance before being forced to exit. Christian Vazquez has taken over behind the plate, and Boston will need to add another catcher to the big-league roster if a concussion is confirmed.

Manager Rocco Baldelli said Tuesday that Garver (groin) likely won't ramp us his activity within the next two weeks, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Garver underwent surgery for a groin contusion June 2 and was placed on the 10-day injured list. Based on Baldelli's comments, the catcher won't be able to do many, if any, baseball activities until late June. Considering that timeline, and the fact that he's likely to require a rehab assignment before returning to Minnesota, an early July activation from the injured list seems like the best-case scenario at this point for the backstop.

Manager Dave Roberts said Barnes' ankle is feeling better, and the catcher is expected to rejoin the lineup Thursday in Pittsburgh, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The 31-year-old was deemed healthy by Roberts after exiting Saturday's game with a mild ankle sprain, but the injury has apparently lingered over the past couple days. The fact the Dodgers haven't added another catcher to the roster indicates the issue isn't a serious concern, so Barnes could be available off the bench Tuesday and Wednesday.

McGuire is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

McGuire had been splitting time behind the plate with Danny Jansen, who landed on the injured list with a hamstring strain Tuesday. The newly promoted Riley Adams will start Tuesday in his big-league debut. McGuire bats left-handed while Adams hits right-handed, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see Adams start against southpaws -- like Tuesday's starter for the White Sox, Carlos Rodon -- going forward.
