Vazquez went 1-for-1 with a solo homer in Wednesday's win over the Phillies.

Vazquez entered the game in the sixth inning and crushed a solo home run in the seventh to extend the Astros' lead to 3-0. It was a nice finish to the regular season for Vazquez, who came into the game hitting just .161 since the start of September. It was also his first home run since July 22.

Heim went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's win over the Yankees.

Heim took Domingo German deep for a solo shot in the bottom of the fourth inning, tying the game at 2-2. The homer was his 16th of the season and third in his last 15 games. Heim will finish the regular season with 16 home runs, 48 RBI, 51 runs and two stolen bases while posting a .227 average over 406 at-bats in 127 games.

Trevino went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers.

Trevino ripped a single in the top of the second inning before he later launched a solo homer off Glenn Otto in the fourth frame. The home run was his 11th of the year and first since Aug. 2. The catcher has struggled to .177 average with three extra-base hits, six RBI and two runs over 62 at-bats in 21 games since the beginning of September. He'll finish the regular season with a .248 average, 11 home runs, 43 RBI, 39 runs and two stolen bases over 335 at-bats in 115 games with the Yankees.

Sanchez went 2-for-5 with a double, a home run, four RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's win over the White Sox.

Sanchez got things started for the Twins in the top of the first inning with a three-run blast to put Minnesota on the board. He then hit an RBI double in the second inning to put his squad up 7-0. The big day comes as he was 0-for-20 with eight strikeouts in his last five games, inching his batting average towards the dreaded Mendoza line. On the season, he finishes with a .205/.282/.377 line with 16 home runs over 128 games.

Diaz is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers, Patrick Lyons of TheDNVR.com reports.

Diaz caught in both of the Rockies' last two games, so he'll be getting some maintenance in a day game Wednesday. Brian Serven will handle catching duties in the season finale.

Rutschman isn't starting the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Blue Jays, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Rutschman started behind the plate during Wednesday's matinee and went 0-for-4 with a strikeout. He'll get a breather for the nightcap while Robinson Chirinos starts at catcher and bats ninth.

Nola isn't in the lineup Wednesday against the Giants, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Nola went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI during Tuesday's win over the Giants, but he'll take a seat for the second time in the last three games. Luis Campusano is starting at catcher and batting ninth.

Kirk is out of the lineup for the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Orioles.

Kirk will end up getting the full day off after he was on the bench for the Blue Jays' 5-4 loss in Game 1 of the twin bill. Danny Jansen will get a turn behind the plate while Teoscar Hernandez serves as Toronto's designated hitter.

Nido is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals.

Nido will be on the bench for the second straight game to close out the regular season. Francisco Alvarez will replace him behind the dish.

Stubbs will start at catcher and bat ninth in Wednesday's game against the Astros.

With J.T. Realmuto handling designated-hitter duties in the regular-season finale, Stubbs will get the chance to make his second straight start behind the dish. Stubbs broke out of an 0-for-9 slump in Tuesday's 10-0 loss, going 1-for-2 with a walk.
