Contreras is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tigers.

Contreras will get Wednesday off after going 2-for-7 with a home run over the first two games of the series with the Tigers. Victor Caratini is starting behind the plate and hitting sixth while Contreras rests.

Trevino is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Twins, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

Trevino will get a day off after he went 2-for-8 while starting behind the plate in the first two contests of the series. Kyle Higashioka will take over at catcher and bat eighth in the series finale.

Diaz is out of the lineup Wednesday versus the Guardians, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Diaz started the first two games of the series with Cleveland, going 2-for-6 with two walks and a run scored. He'll now take a seat in favor of Brian Serven, who will take over behind the plate and bat ninth in the series finale with the Guardians.

Grandal (back) is out of the starting lineup Wednesday versus the Blue Jays.

The veteran catcher is dealing with back spasms and will now be forced to miss at least one contest while he nurses the injury. Grandal will be replaced behind the plate by Seby Zavala, who will bat seventh in the series finale with Toronto.

Haase is out of the lineup Wednesday versus the Brewers.

Haase will take a seat after he went 2-for-7 with a double, a run scored and three strikeouts over the first two games of the series. Jake Rogers will take over at catcher and bat eighth as Detroit goes for the sweep against Milwaukee.

Sabol went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Cardinals.

Sabol was the hero for the Giants on Tuesday, as he sent a slider from Ryan Helsley 428 feet to center field to lead San Francisco to a walkoff victory. After his second multi-hit game of the season, the rookie's slash line now sits at .224/.269/.469 and a 1:23 BB:K over 52 plate appearances. The 25-year-old catcher is striking out at a 44 percent clip this season, and unless he shows major improvement in that regard, he'll likely remain a major batting-average risk.

Langeliers went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's defeat to the Angels.

Langeliers kicked off the fifth inning with a no-doubter to left center field to bring the A's within 4-2. It was his second home run in three games and his fifth on the year. The 25-year-old is now tied for second among catchers in homers and is slashing .222/.300/.458 with 11 RBI, 11 runs and a 5:21 BB:K over 80 plate appearances.

Ruiz went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's victory over the Mets.

Ruiz flashed some power Tuesday, swatting his second home run of the season off Jose Butto in the second inning. Ruiz has an impressive .288/.350/.425 slash line through 80 plate appearances, but his fantasy value is somewhat capped by the Nationals' offensive woes and Ruiz's typically modest power.

Jansen went 3-for-4 with two homers, four RBI and three runs scored in Tuesday's 7-0 win over the White Sox.

Jansen notched his second and third homers of the season Tuesday, hitting a three-run home run in the third inning off Mike Clevinger and clubbing a solo homer off Tanner Banks in the sixth frame. He appears to have broken out of an early season slump, hitting 4-for-9 with three home runs, eight RBI and two runs scored in his last three games after starting the season 1-for-35. Considering Jansen is currently in a time split with Alejandro Kirk, most of his value comes in daily formats, where he is typically a cheap attachment to a strong offense, but he could push for season-long consideration if Kirk misses time or Jansen continues to carry a hot stick.

Gomes went 4-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Tuesday's 6-0 win over the Padres.

Gomes connected for a two-run home run in the second inning, his fifth of the season, then added an RBI single in the eighth. The big game pushed his average up to .309 to go along with a strong .898 OPS. Meanwhile, Tucker Barnhart is batting only .200 with a .450 OPS. At this rate, Gomes could secure a larger share of the playing time behind the plate, though both catchers will continue to see the field with Gomes looking like the preferred option against lefties.
