Austin Hedges C | CLE
Indians' Austin Hedges: Nabs second home run
Hedges went 1-for-3 with a home run and a strikeout Saturday as Cleveland lost to Chicago 7-3.
The home run was Hedges' second of the season, but on the year, he only has three hits in 23 at bats. Hedges is one of the best defensive backstops in the league, but until he can be at least serviceable at the plate, he'll remain Roberto Perez's backup.

Yasmani Grandal C | PIT
White Sox's Yasmani Grandal: Four plate appearances, four walks
Grandal failed to register an at-bat while logging four walks and two runs as Chicago beat Cleveland 7-3 on Saturday.
The veteran catcher demonstrated his on-base penchant by walking each time he stepped up to the dish and now has nine walks compared to one hit over his last six games. Grandal currently owns a .333 OBP compared to a .273 SLG.

Salvador Perez C | KC
Royals' Salvador Perez: Extends hit streak to five
Perez went 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, two runs and three RBI in an 11-3 win over the Twins on Saturday.
Perez got the scoring started with an RBI double in the first and followed it up with two-run home run in the third before being removed from the blowout in the seventh. The backstop remains one of the best in fantasy and has rebounded nicely after missing the entire 2019 season.

Danny Jansen C | TEX
Blue Jays' Danny Jansen: Remains out of lineup
Jansen isn't starting Saturday's game against Atlanta.
Jansen will be on the bench for a second straight contest after he went hitless in 33 at-bats across his last 12 games. Alejandro Kirk will start behind the plate and bat ninth.

Sean Murphy C | ATL
Athletics' Sean Murphy: Takes seat Saturday

Murphy will get a breather after he went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's series opener. Aramis Garcia will start behind the plate and bat ninth.

Roberto Perez C | BOS
Indians' Roberto Perez: Gets breather Saturday
Perez isn't starting Saturday's game against the White Sox.
Perez will take a seat for the second time in the last three games after he went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts Friday. Austin Hedges will start behind the plate and bat ninth.

Martin Maldonado C | SD
Astros' Martin Maldonado: Triples in win
Maldonado went 1-for-5 with a triple and a run scored in Friday's 9-2 win over Tampa Bay.
Maldonado's fourth-inning triple snapped an 0-for-10 skid and was just his sixth hit in 59 at-bats (.102). The Astros' potent offense can afford to carry a light-hitting catcher, so Maldonado will maintain his role as the team's primary catcher.

Tom Murphy C | SF
Mariners' Tom Murphy: Goes deep Friday
Murphy went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, a walk and two total RBI in a victory over the Angels on Friday.
Murphy blasted a solo shot in the fourth inning to give Seattle a 4-3 lead, then capped the scoring for the Mariners with an RBI double in the eighth. The backstop is batting only .146 on the season, and Friday's performance snapped a nine-game skid during which he collected only one hit in 26 at-bats.

Sean Murphy C | ATL
Athletics' Sean Murphy: Slams fourth homer Friday
Murphy went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in the 3-2 loss Friday to the Orioles.
Murphy provided his third two-hit game of the season Friday. The catcher is slashing just .206/.324/.444 in 20 games. However, he has three home runs in his last four starts, flashing some of the power that he showed in the minor leagues. He hasn't played a full season in the majors yet, but he has 20-homer potential. Murphy's numbers in 2020 stretched over a full season gives him 19 home runs, 38 RBI and 57 runs scored.
