Murphy isn't starting Saturday's game against the Angels.

Rogers has gone 0-for-10 with a walk and four strikeouts in his last four appearances and will be out of the lineup for the second time in the last three games. Eric Haase will start behind the plate and bat sixth.

Garver went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Friday's 8-3 loss to the Royals.

He produced the game's first run by taking Kris Bubic deep in the fourth inning. Garver extended his hit streak to six games with the blast, a stretch during which he's slashing .368/.538/.842 with three doubles and two of his eight homers on the year.

Bemboom was recalled by the Angels on Friday.

Bemboom will join the Angels as a third option behind the plate while Max Stassi (concussion) remains sidelined. Jose Iglesias (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move.

Stubbs was recalled by the Astros on Friday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Stubbs was optioned off the roster in late April and slashed .333/.471/.444 with three doubles and three RBI in eight games for Triple-A Sugar Land. He'll now serve as a backup option at catcher again after Jason Castro (Achilles) was placed on the injured list.

Sanchez is not starting Friday against the Tigers.
