Leon's contract was selected by the Twins on Wednesday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Leon was traded from the Guardians to the Twins on Tuesday, and he'll join Minnesota's active roster as part of a move after Caleb Hamilton was sent down. Leon appeared in nine major-league games for Cleveland earlier in the year and hit .133 with six walks and four strikeouts. He's starting behind the dish and batting eighth Wednesday but should serve mainly as catching depth behind Gary Sanchez.

Jansen went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Rays.

Jansen provided the pivotal hit of the night for the Blue Jays, with his two-run Texas Leaguer in the top of the ninth holding up as the difference in the victory. He'll be making his fourth consecutive start in Wednesday's series finale, handling catching duties while batting seventh.

Grandal isn't starting Wednesday against the Royals.

Grandal started the last two games and went 0-for-8 with two strikeouts. Seby Zavala will take over behind the plate and bat ninth Wednesday.

Plawecki isn't starting Wednesday against the Astros, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Plawecki started the last two games and went 0-for-6 with two strikeouts. While he should see an uptick in playing time after Christian Vazquez was traded to Houston on Tuesday, Reese McGuire is starting behind the dish and batting eighth Wednesday.

Raleigh isn't starting Wednesday against the Yankees.

Raleigh started the last three games and went 1-for-12 with a solo home run and two strikeouts. Luis Torrens will take his place behind the dish and bat eighth.

Trevino isn't starting Wednesday against Seattle.

Trevino is getting a breather after he went 4-for-8 with three home runs, a double and four RBI over the last two games. Kyle Higashioka will start behind the plate and bat ninth.

Trevino went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run home run in Tuesday's loss to Seattle.

Trevino's two-run shot came in the fourth inning. It sent Josh Donaldson home and put the Yankees within one run of the Mariners. After going hitless in three appearances, Trevino is 5-for-13 in his last four games, which includes two two-hit performances and three home runs. After ending July with a .255 batting average, the catcher has increased it to .265 thanks to two excellent performances to begin August.

Raleigh went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 8-6 win over the Yankees.

Raleigh's homer came in the second inning and increased Seattle's lead to 3-0. This was his 15th home run of the year and his first hit since July 28. The catcher has spent most of this season hitting below the Mendoza line, but he finished July with a .207 batting average. Raleigh is now sporting just a .204 average on the season, but his penchant for making impactful contact (28 out of 47 hits have gone for extra bases) affords him some fantasy value.

Maile went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Maile was the only Guardian with multiple hits in the contest. He knocked in two of their three runs with a second-inning single and a sixth-inning double. The catcher hit a meager .219 in 15 games in July, and he's likely to remain in a backup role to Austin Hedges over the final two months of the campaign. Maile has a .206/.308/.294 slash line with no home runs, nine doubles, eight RBI and 15 runs scored in 120 plate appearances this year.

Rortvedt (knee) was activated from the 60-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.

Rortvedt has been on the shelf since mid-May after undergoing knee surgery, but he's been deemed healthy after an 11-game rehab assignment. The 24-year-old may not see an opportunity in the big leagues this year while Jose Trevino and Kyle Higashioka remain healthy.
