McGuire is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

The lefty-hitting McGuire will exit the starting nine while the Angels bring southpaw Tyler Anderson to the bump in the series finale. Connor Wong will replace McGuire behind the dish.

Rutschman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 11-5 loss to the Brewers.

The 26-year-old catcher took former battery mate DL Hall deep in the third inning, one of three Orioles long balls on the afternoon. It was Rutschman's first homer of the season, and while his power hasn't fully arrived yet, he's still had a solid start to the campaign with a .283/.339/.377 slash line, seven RBI and nine runs through 13 games.

Perez went 2-for-5 with a home run and four total RBI in Saturday's win over the Mets.

Perez's hit in the fourth inning was initially ruled a double, but it was overturned to a home run upon review, as the tape showed that the ball was deflected by Brandon Nimmo over the left-field wall at Citi Field. It was the fourth homer of the season for Perez and the 250th of his illustrious career. Perez is still the leader in the Kansas City clubhouse and continues to play nearly every day between catcher and first base.

Stassi (hip) was hit on the hand by a backswing in a recent game and his projected return has been pushed back as a result, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Stassi was in the midst of a rehab assignment to return from a hip injury and was seemingly closing in on activation. His new injury isn't a fracture, so he may still not be far off from a return. White Sox GM Chris Getz has stated the team will not activate Stassi until he can catch back-to-back games.

Raleigh isn't in the Mariners' lineup for Saturday's game against the Cubs.

Raleigh will get a day to regroup after striking out in each of his four at-bats during Friday's series opener. Seby Zavala will fill in behind the dish and bat ninth.

Naylor isn't in the Guardians' lineup for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader with the Yankees.

Naylor went 0-for-2 and walked twice during a loss in Game 1, and he'll watch the second game of Saturday's action from the dugout. David Fry will get the nod behind the plate and bat seventh.

Kelly isn't in the Tigers' lineup for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Twins.

After going 0-for-4 with a walk and a run scored during Game 1, Kelly will get a breather in the nightcap. Jake Rogers will take his place behind the plate and bat ninth.

Perez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-1 loss to the Mets.

Perez was responsible for the Royals' only run and one of their three hits when he took Luis Severino deep in the second inning. Perez continues to hit well in the cleanup spot, batting .327 with an .871 OPS, three homers, 11 RBI, seven runs scored and a double over 14 contests. With the Royals playing well early on, Perez's success should lead to an increase in counting stats after he had 80 RBI and 59 runs scored over 140 games last year.

Kirk is not in Saturday's lineup against the Rockies.

Kirk is tied for seventh among catchers with 50 plate appearances, but he is hitting just .133, due in large part to a .162 BABIP. Brian Serven is starting behind the dish in this one, and meanwhile, Danny Jansen (wrist) has two rehab games under his belt with Triple-A Buffalo.

Wells isn't in the Yankees' lineup for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against Cleveland.

Wells will begin the first game of Saturday's slate in the dugout, though he will likely get the nod behind the dish in the nightcap. In the meantime, Jose Trevino will start against right-hander Carlos Carrasco, batting eighth.
