Perez was removed from Sunday's game against the Red Sox due to a right shoulder contusion, Bill Koch of the Providence Journal reports.

  • Royals' Salvador Perez: Leaves yard in loss

Perez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Tigers on Saturday.
