Longoria was removed from Friday's loss to the Mariners in the bottom of the seventh inning with a stiff neck, MLB.com reports.

He lined out in the top of the inning before being lifted for a defensive replacement when the Rays took the field. There's no word yet on the severity of Longoria's injury, so consider him day-to-day heading into Saturday evening's contest.

Rendon went 2-for-5 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Friday's 13-3 rout of the A's.

The 26-year-old's power surge continues. Over his last 10 games, Rendon is hitting .410/.465/.923 with five doubles, five homers, nine runs and 12 RBI, and he's on pace for career highs in all three slash categories as well as homers and RBI.

Donaldson went 2-for-5 with a pair of solo homers Friday against the Yankees.

Donaldson got the Blue Jays on the board in the first inning before adding an insurance run in the sixth inning of a home victory. Although he has fewer than 60 at-bats on the season, he hasn't disappointed when on the field, as evidenced by his elite .296/.377/.648 slash line to go with five homers.

Machado went 1-for-4 with a solo homer Friday against the Red Sox.

Machado blasted his 11th homer of the campaign to extend a first-inning lead on the way to the Orioles notching a home victory. He left the yard for just the second time since May 11, and his nightmare season continues, as he's posting an anemic .707 OPS.

Segura (ankle) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Friday.

The injury is being dubbed a high ankle sprain, and it appears that the injury is serious enough to warrant a DL stint. No word has been released about how long Segura will remain out, but Taylor Motter seems to be the likely option to fill in at shortstop while he's on the shelf.

Peterson was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday.

He hit just .194/.293/.259 with zero home runs and two steals in 123 plate appearances this season. Johan Camargo was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett to take over Peterson's utility duties.

McMahon was promoted to Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday, Nick Groke of The Denver Post reports.

In his second season with Double-A Hartford, the top prospect showed that he had mastered the level, slashing .326/.390/.536 with six home runs, 28 runs scored and 32 RBI in 49 games. He also added seven steals and learned a new position (second base), pushing the Rockies to advance him up the organizational ladder. McMahon drastically improved his strikeout rate with the Yard Goats this season (19 percent), and if he can keep it up with the Isotopes, his added positional versatility could make him a candidate for a call to the big leagues toward the end of the season.

Alvarez has reached a "temporary resolution" to remain with the Orioles at Triple-A Norfolk, Dan Connolly of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

The 30-year-old slugger could have opted out of his deal Thursday, but he and the organization managed to keep things at status quo. Details on Alvarez's agreement have been kept mum, but it's said to not be a long-term fix. His experiment playing the outfield has not gone well, thus limiting his usefulness for the Orioles as of now.

Arenado went 1-for-5 with a solo home run during Thursday's win over Seattle.

The bomb snapped a nine-game homer drought, which was his longest of the campaign. With 13 homers, 35 RBI, 37 runs and a .276/.336/.547 slash line, Arenado is turning in another monster fantasy campaign. He's established himself as one of the most reliable assets year in, year out, and playing half his games in Coors Field is a nice bonus.

Machado went 2-for-4 with two runs during Thursday's win over Boston.

After registering just five multi-hit showings through 27 May games (.191/.238/.391 slash line), it was encouraging to see Machado kick-start June with two hits and two runs. The 24-year-old star has underachieved in 2017, but his pedigree and track record are reasons to stay patient. After all, Machado is still on pace for a third consecutive 30-home run season.
