Bohm underwent an MRI on his injured left hamstring Wednesday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Bohm returned to action Tuesday after missing one game, but apparently his hamstring flared up again. He and the Phillies are still awaiting the results of the MRI, but a trip to the injured list is possible. The club has Edmundo Sosa at third base and Kody Clemens at first Wednesday.

Clemens will start at first base and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Mets.

The 27-year-old will make his fourth straight start and appears to have temporarily supplanted Edmundo Sosa as a regular in the Philadelphia infield, at least versus right-handed pitching. Clemens has maintained a .308/.372/.462 slash line throughout May heading into the Phillies' final game of the month.

Bohm is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets.

Bohm sat out Sunday's 11-4 loss to Atlanta with left hamstring tightness, but he returned to the lineup at third base for Tuesday's series opener and went 0-for-3 in the 2-0 loss while playing all eight innings in the field. The Phillies haven't indicated that Bohm suffered a setback coming out of that contest, so his absence Wednesday could just be maintenance related.

Cooper is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres.

For the second time in four games, Cooper will take a sit while he remains in the midst of an unproductive stretch at the plate. Over his last 13 games, Cooper has slashed .143/.176/.286 with a 35.3 percent strikeout rate.

Casas is out of the lineup Wednesday versus the Reds.

After an 0-for-5 effort in Tuesday's 9-8 loss, Casas' season-long batting average now sits at .193. The lefty-hitting Casas finds himself on the bench for the second game of the series, despite having the platoon advantage in his favor while right-hander Luke Weaver takes the hill for Cincinnati. Justin Turner will fill in for Casas at first base.

Santana (back) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Giants, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

He'll get a third consecutive game off while he contends with lumbar spine muscular tightness. Santana said earlier in the week that he expects to avoid a stint on the injured list, but the Pirates will likely wait until after Thursday's team off day before making a decision on his status one way or another.

Raley is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The lefty-hitting Raley started each of the past three games, but he'll head to the bench for the series finale while southpaw Justin Steele toes the rubber for Chicago. Though he doesn't have a direct path to a regular lineup spot at any one position, Raley's ability to play first base and the corner outfield or to serve as a designated hitter should afford him fairly steady playing time while he's wielding a hot bat.

Gurriel went 0-for-3 with two walks and a steal in Tuesday's loss to the Padres.

Gurriel is now 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts this season after swiping eight bags with Houston last year. While the 39-year-old shouldn't be counted on as a steady source of speed, he's been productive at the plate, going 13-for-30 over his last eight games to boost his slash line to .289/.353/.430 with three home runs and 12 RBI through 136 plate appearances this season. The veteran infielder has gotten the majority of the starts at first base recently, with Garrett Cooper serving as DH, though Jesus Sanchez's return from the IL could cut into Gurriel's playing time.

Vaughn went 2-for-4 with two doubles, three RBI and a run scored Tuesday against the Angels.

Vaughn came to the plate with the bases loaded in the fourth inning and cleared the bases with a double. That extended his hitting streak to five games, during which he's tallied five extra-base hits, eight RBI and four runs scored. Vaughn hasn't taken a step forward this season, and he's fallen down the batting order since Eloy Jimenez and Yoan Moncada have both gotten healthy -- most recently batting sixth for the last two contests.

France went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's loss to the Mariners.

France was the only Mariner to have more than one hit Tuesday evening. He doubled home a run in the fifth and later scored in the inning. The 28-year-old now has four multi-hit efforts across his last eight games and is hitting .344/.432/.719 with three homers, five RBI and eight runs scored over that span. He's currently swinging the hottest bat on the team as the calendar gets set to turn over to June.
