Harper (wrist) fielded ground balls at first base Friday, but the Phillies aren't certain when he'll be ready to swing a bat or resume throwing, MLB.com reports.

Harper is set to accompany the Phillies on their four-game set in Miami to begin the week, but he doesn't appear on track to be activated at any point during the series. The 32-year-old won't be cleared for throwing or swinging until his right wrist is completely pain-free, though the Phillies relayed Sunday that the range of motion in his wrist is "almost" back to normal. Otto Kemp will continue to serve as the Phillies' primary first baseman for the duration of Harper's absence.

Schmitt exited Sunday's contest against the Dodgers in the third inning after fouling a ball off his foot earlier in the game, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Schmitt fouled a ball off his foot in the top of the second inning, ultimately toughing it out for another frame before leaving the contest in the bottom of the third. The 26-year-old was already dealing with a sore foot from a previous foul ball earlier in the week, so he may have aggravated it Sunday. Tyler Fitzgerald replaced him at third base, batting sixth against Los Angeles, and Schmitt can be considered day-to-day ahead of Monday's off day prior to Tuesday's series opener at home against the Guardians.

Busch went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Sunday's 3-2, 10-inning win over the Pirates.

Busch continued his steady, impressive season, as he's now batting .295 this month and .265 for the year. The infielder also has a solid .861 OPS, and he's been a mainstay near the middle of Chicago's lineup. Busch remains vulnerable against left-handed pitching, but he has plenty of fantasy value as a dangerous run producer against righties.

Hernandez will start in left field and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Giants.

The Dodgers are stocking up on some extra right-handed bats to counter Giants southpaw Kyle Harrison, so Hernandez will get the call in left field to fill in for the left-handed-hitting Michael Conforto. Hernandez will be making his first start since June 5, and the light playing time may in part explain why he's gone just 2-for-20 with 10 strikeouts so far this month.

Kurtz went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in Sunday's 3-2 victory at Kansas City.

The 22-year-old rookie gave the Athletics a 3-2 lead with his 411-foot homer off Royals reliever Carlos Estevez in the ninth inning. This marks Kurtz's first homer since returning from a hip injury June 9, as he's now batting .142 (3-for-21) with no walks since that date. Overall, the Athletics first baseman is slashing .235/.295/.435 with six homers, 17 RBI and 12 runs scored across 129 total plate appearances.

Aranda went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 9-0 victory over the Mets.

The Tampa Bay first baseman extended his team's lead to 6-0 with a two-RBI double off reliever Max Kranick in the fifth inning. Despite not cracking a homer, Aranda has been on fire in June, batting .325 (14-for-43) with two doubles, seven runs scored and eight RBI across 13 contests. Through 252 total plate appearances, the 27-year-old is now slashing .321/.413/.493 with eight homers, 13 doubles, 35 runs scored and 39 RBI.

The Padres selected Brooks' contract from Triple-A El Paso on Sunday.

Brooks logged 29 plate appearances in the majors with the Giants in 2024, but he was outrighted off the 40-man roster last July and elected free agency before catching on with the Padres on a minor-league deal. The 29-year-old has been a mainstay in the lineup at El Paso this season and will earn a look with the big club after slashing .313/.415/.585 with 13 home runs and 53 RBI over 265 plate appearances. Brooks isn't included in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks, but he could be an option for the Padres in left field or at first base and designated hitter against right-handed pitching while Jackson Merrill (concussion) and Jason Heyward (oblique) are on the injured list.

Walker is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Walker's troubles at the plate have continued in June with a .678 OPS through 12 games, and he'll sit Sunday after starting the previous 14 contests. Victor Caratini will take over at first base for the series finale versus Minnesota.

Soderstrom is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

The 23-year-old will take a seat for the first time since May 4 while the Athletics hand JJ Bleday a start in left field. Though he's been limited to two home runs through his first 13 games in June, Soderstrom has demonstrated a patient approach at the plate, drawing 10 walks while striking out just nine times.

Hiura is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta.

Hiura has produced a weak .222/.333/.278 slash line in 21 plate appearances since being promoted from Triple-A Albuquerque on May 31. He'll be on the bench for the third time in the Rockies' last four matchups with right-handed starting pitchers and looks like he'll have to settle for a part-time role for the time being.
