DeGrom (4-4) threw five scoreless innings, allowing four hits and issuing one walk while striking out eight batters to earn the win over St. Louis on Monday. DeGrom dominated the Cardinals' lineup, racking up 17 whiffs and notching eight punchouts in just five innings. He didn't go deep enough for a quality start after having tossed 91 pitches, but this was nonetheless among his better outings this season. DeGrom had a bit of a rough patch in May during which he allowed 10 runs over nine frames across two starts, but he's bounced back by yielding just two runs across 11 innings over his subsequent two apperances. The veteran righty's numbers aren't quite at peak levels this season, but he's been both healthy and good, posting a 3.48 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 78:13 over 64.2 frames.

DeGrom allowed two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out six over six innings in a no-decision versus the Astros on Wednesday. DeGrom had given up 10 runs over nine innings across his last two starts. He was much sharper Wednesday while picking up his fourth quality start of the campaign, though he didn't get enough run support to get back in the win column. DeGrom has allowed 18 runs across 28.1 innings over five starts in May, a major step back compared to his dominant performance in April. Overall, the veteran right-hander has a 3.77 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 70:12 K:BB through 59.2 innings over 11 starts. He's been partly held back by virtue of allowing 13 homers so far this season, which is already half as many as he gave up in 172.2 innings during the 2025 regular season. DeGrom will look to get back on track in his next start, which is projected to be on the road versus the Cardinals early next week.

DeGrom (3-4) took the loss Friday against the Angels after allowing six runs on six hits and three walks across three innings. He struck out three. The long ball continues to be an issue for deGrom, as he's now given up 12 homers through 10 starts and 53.2 innings in 2026. It's easy to call this outing the worst of the campaign for the veteran hurler, who's trending in the wrong direction, having allowed four or more runs in three of his last four appearances. With a 6.45 ERA and eight homers allowed over his last four starts, deGrom will be looking to bounce back next week at home against the Astros.

DeGrom (3-2) took the loss against the Astros on Saturday, allowing four runs on five hits while striking out four across six innings. He did not issue a walk. It was an uncharacteristic night for deGrom, who gave up two solo home runs in both the first and fourth innings of Saturday's loss. It was the second time in 257 regular-season starts that the veteran right-hander allowed at least four home runs in a game, per Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle. DeGrom has yielded 10 home runs this season (tied for third most in the American League) but has otherwise pitched well with a 3.02 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 61:8 K:BB across 50.2 innings. His next start is lined up for next weekend on the road against the Angels.

DeGrom (3-2) notched the win Sunday against the Cubs, allowing no runs on three hits and no walks in seven innings. He struck out 10. On the heels of giving up a season-worst six runs in his last appearance versus the Yankees, deGrom bounced back in a big way with his longest outing of the season against the red-hot Cubs on Sunday. The 37-year-old right-hander delivered a vintage showing, generating a staggering 23 whiffs en route to matching a season high in punchouts. DeGrom will bring an outstanding 2.62 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 57:8 K:BB over 44.2 innings into his next scheduled start versus the division-rival Astros next weekend.
