Raiders' Treydan Stukes: Unable to practice
Stukes (concussion) did not participate at the Raiders' practice Wednesday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
Stukes suffered a concussion during the team's 26-14 win over the Chargers on Sunday, and he now appears to be at risk of missing the Raiders' Week 3 matchup with New Orleans. If he is unable to clear concussion protocol, Isaiah Pola-Mao would likely start at free safety against the Saints.

Raiders' Treydan Stukes: Suffers head injury
Stukes (head) is being evaluated for a potential concussion after exiting Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Stukes exited the first half of Sunday's contest with a head injury. The starting free safety will be evaluated by the Raiders' training staff and an independent neurologist to determine the severity of the injury and determine whether he will be able to return to the contest. Stukes logged three tackles before exiting.

Raiders' Treydan Stukes: Suffers concussion Sunday
Stukes suffered a concussion and has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's contest against the Chargers, Vincent Bonsignore of the California Post reports.
Stukes was officially diagnosed with the injury after he was removed from the contest for the second time for evaluation, per Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com. In Stukes' absence, Isaiah Pola-Mao will stand to operate as the team's primary free safety versus Los Angeles.

Raiders' Treydan Stukes: Solid start to NFL career
Stukes ended with six tackles (four solo) and one interception in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Dolphins.
The Raiders defense had 5.0 sacks in Week 1, tied for the highest in the NFL. While Kwity Paye shined for Las Vegas, Stukes also made an impact in his first career NFL game, picking off a pass from Malik Willis intended for Caleb Douglas, subsequently leading to a 30-yard field goal from Matt Gay for the Raiders' final score of the game. The 2026 No. 38 overall pick spent his entire collegiate career at Arizona, garnering 207 total tackles, 26 passes defended, 1.0 sacks and seven interceptions.

Raiders' Treydan Stukes: Listed as starting free safety
Stukes is listed as the Raiders' starting free safety heading into Week 1 against the Dolphins on Sunday, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports.
The rookie second-rounder is slated to start alongside fellow safety Jeremy Chinn in the secondary, with Isaiah Pola-Mao, Dalton Johnson and Tristin McCollum providing depth at the position. Stukes put together a strong training camp and finished the preseason with 10 tackles (five solo) across three games. He'll be part of a defensive unit that was middle-of-the-pack in passing yards allowed per game (201.0) during the 2025 regular season.

Raiders' Treydan Stukes: Taken by Las Vegas in second round
The Raiders selected Stukes in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 38th overall.
Stukes had to fight for his roster spot as a walk-on at Arizona in 2020, where he spent all six years of his college career. He spent the last couple of seasons at safety and as the nickel corner after starting out as an outside corner, and he saw his tackling and pass defense numbers rise as a result. Stukes tore the ACL in his right knee during the 2024 season, but he bounced back nicely in 2025 and was selected to both the All-American Third-Team and the All-Big 12 First-Team after logging 52 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and six pass defenses (including a career-high four interceptions). Stukes has a chance to earn a consistent role in the Raiders secondary in his rookie season, with his main competition coming from Tristin McCollum.
