Rams' Harrison Mevis: Nails four kicks in preseason win
Mevis made both of his field-goal attempts and each of his two extra-point tries during the Rams' 20-12 win over the Chiefs in Saturday's preseason game.
Mevis connected on field goals from 25 and 40 yards in the first half before tacking on the extra point following the Rams' two touchdowns in the fourth quarter. He took over as the Rams' starting kicker in November of last season and made the most of his opportunity, connecting on 18 of 19 field-goal attempts and all 48 of his extra-point tries over the team's final 12 games of 2025 (including three playoff games). Mevis is the only kicker on the Rams' 90-man training camp squad, and that shouldn't change once the roster trims down to 53 players before the start of the regular season.

Rams' Harrison Mevis: Gets tender from Los Angeles
The Rams tendered Mevis on Monday.
Mevis was lined up to be an exclusive rights free agent, but it's no surprise the Rams decided to tender him, which will prevent him from being able to negotiate with other teams. The undrafted kicker out of Missouri latched on with Los Angeles' practice squad in November last year and eventually earned his way to a role as the team's starting kicker. He debuted Week 10 against San Francisco and finished the regular season having converted 12 of 13 field-goal tries and all 39 of his point-after attempts. Mevis then went 6-for-6 on FG tries and 9-for-9 on PATs in the postseason, all but assuring that he'll enter training camp as the frontrunner for the team's kicking job in 2026.

Rams' Harrison Mevis: Involved often in win
Mevis connected on all three field-goal attempts and all four PAT tries during Sunday's 37-20 victory against the Cardinals.
It was more of the same for Mevis, who has been rock solid since taking over the starting kicker role from Joshua Karty in Week 10. Over his nine games as the starter, Mevis was a perfect 39-for-39 on extra-point tries and 12-for-13 on field-goal attempts, with the lone miss a costly one in overtime against the Seahawks in Week 16. Despite the lone blemish on his record, Mevis has proven to be a reliable option at kicker for the Rams, something they've sorely lacked since the departure of Matt Gay after the 2022 season. The Rams likely will extend a contract offer to Mevis, an exclusive-rights free agent, after the playoffs, but for now he'll prepare for a wild-card round showdown against the Panthers on Saturday.

Rams' Harrison Mevis: Makes lone field goal in MNF loss
Mevis made his lone field-goal attempt and connected on all three of his extra-point tries during the Rams' 27-24 loss to the Falcons on Monday.
The Rams offense was held scoreless in the first half, but Mevis put his team on the board with a 35-yard field goal early in the third quarter. Since joining the Rams in Week 10, he has gone 9-for-10 on field-goal attempts and 35-for-35 on extra-point tries. Per Stu Jackson of the team's official site, head coach Sean McVay relayed after Monday's loss that the Rams' healthy starters will play against the Cardinals on Sunday, so Mevis' fantasy floor will remain somewhat elevated in Week 18.
