The Steelers waived Durant on Tuesday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Durant signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Duke, where he totaled 489 carries for 2,256 yards and 18 touchdowns across 44 games. However, he finds himself among a wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 80-man roster deadline.
