Saints' Chris Olave: Finds end zone in Week 6 win
Olave caught four of seven targets for 43 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-27 win over the Giants.
While he didn't see his usual volume on an afternoon in which Tyler Shough threw for only 144 yards, Olave was on the other end of one of the QB's three scores, hauling in an 18-yard TD early in the fourth quarter that proved to be crucial after the Giants staged a late, but unsuccessful, rally. Olave got double-digit targets in each of the first four games of the season, but over the last two contests he's been targeted just 13 times, posting an 8-89-1 line. He'll look to regain some steam in Paris for a Week 7 matchup against the Steelers.

Olave (illness) is listed as active Sunday at the Giants, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
An illness afflicted Olave during the entirety of Week 6 prep, holding him to one limited practice Friday, but Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Sunday morning that the wide receiver is expected to suit up. Indeed, that has come to pass, and Olave will continue to operate as the unquestioned top target for QB Tyler Shough, who currently ranks second in the NFL this season with 205 pass attempts.

Olave (illness), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at the Giants, is expected to suit up, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Olave was contained to just one limited session (Friday) during Week 6 prep as he dealt with an illness, but it won't stop him from being available Sunday. Olave is coming off a season-worst 4-46-0 line on six targets in this past Sunday's loss to the Vikings, but a stout defense and not a health concern was to blame. As Week 6 prep kicks off, his absence on a Wednesday with an illness isn't as worrisome as it could be not long before game day, and he at least has two more chances to practice Thursday and Friday to prove his health ahead of Sunday's contest at the Giants.

Saints' Chris Olave: Victim of Shough's struggles Sunday
Olave secured four of six targets for 46 yards in the Saints' 23-13 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.
Olave found himself in the familiar position of either tying for the team lead or setting the pace for the Saints in receptions, receiving yards and targets, but the numbers he generated in each of those categories left plenty to be desired. Olave's substandard production should be taken in context, however, considering Tyler Shough threw for only 96 yards at 3.8 yards per attempt and was picked off twice as well. Olave's numbers were easily season lows across the board, but he should have a good chance to bounce back in a Week 6 road matchup against the Giants next Sunday.

Olave secured eight of 12 targets for 116 yards in the Saints' 45-24 loss to the Falcons on Monday night.
Olave was in the customary position of leading the Saints in receptions, receiving yards and targets, putting together his third 100-yard effort, including his second straight, of 2026. Olave also extended his season-opening streak of games with double-digit targets to four, and although Jeff Nowak of WWLAM-FM reports the talented receiver took a hit to the knee on New Orleans' final drive and went to the sideline, he never entered the medical tent. Assuming Olave is no worse for wear, he'll once again be slated for a prominent role in a Week 5 home matchup against the Vikings on Sunday.
