Browns' Cedric Tillman: Remains sidelined at practice
Tillman (undisclosed) did not participate at the Browns practice Tuesday, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
Tillman was unable to practice for a second straight day as he continues to nurse an undisclosed injury. The 26-year-old is battling for his spot as a top reserve option in the wide receiver room with Cleveland this season, and his status for Saturday's preseason contest against the Bills may now be coming into question.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Non-participant Wednesday
Tillman didn't practice Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
Tillman can ill-afford a lengthy absence, as Jackson adds that the 2023 third-round draft pick could be on the wrong side of the roster bubble for the Browns, who will begin preseason play Saturday against the Bears. Rookies KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston appear to have leapfrogged Tillman in a Browns wide receiver room that also includes Jerry Jeudy and Isaiah Bond.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Faces added competition for snaps
Tillman will face increased competition for snaps and targets after the Browns drafted a pair of rookie wide receivers in first-rounder KC Concepcion and second-rounder Denzel Boston in the 2026 Draft, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
Tillman was categorized by Jackson as one of the Browns' biggest losers following the draft and looks to be a candidate to be traded over the summer. He's headed into the final year of his rookie contract but has shown glimpses of playmaking ability when paired with a quarterback who can push the ball down the field and outside the numbers. He has a career 71-833-5 line on 132 targets across 38 regular-season appearances. Boston is viewed as Cleveland's perimeter wide receiver of the future, according to Jackson.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: One reception in win
Tillman caught one of two targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 20-18 win over the Bengals in Week 18.
Tillman was responsible for the Browns' longest play for the second consecutive week, and five of his last eight receptions have gone for more than 20 yards. Unfortunately for the third-year wideout, Cleveland's quarterback situation all season was a mess that limited his growth following a promising campaign in 2024, and Tillman had just five catches over the final seven games this season. He ended the regular season with 21 catches for 270 yards and two touchdowns. The 2023 third-round pick is heading into the final year of his rookie contract and should be among the team's top three wideouts in 2026, but his fantasy value will depend on organizational changes during the offseason.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Sets up lone TD in win
Tillman caught his lone target for 42 yards in Sunday's 13-6 win over the Steelers in Week 17.
Tillman made an impact on Cleveland's lone touchdown drive. He dug the Browns out from deep in their own territory with his only reception of the day and set up Harold Fannin (groin) for a 28-yard score. Fannin has been Shedeur Sanders' leading target the last few weeks, so the groin injury that forced him to leave Sunday's contest could have big implications for the Cleveland passing game in the regular-season finale next Sunday against the Bengals. If Fannin's held out, then wide receivers like Tillman and Jerry Jeudy could see more targets.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Increased playing time in loss
Tillman caught his lone target for eight yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Bills in Week 16.
Tillman, who played just seven snaps last week after returning from a concussion, was given 31 snaps Sunday. Unfortunately for the receiver, he was not - and has not been -- a preferred option for quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Over the last five contests, Tillman has three catches on eight targets for 36 yards.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Limited snap count in loss
Tillman was not targeted over seven snaps in Sunday's 31-3 loss to Chicago in Week 15.
Tillman battled a concussion and a rib injury during the practice week but was eventually cleared and allowed to suit up. The snap volume indicates he may not have been 100 percent, however. Tillman normally is the No. 2 wideout behind Jerry Jeudy, but he saw less action Sunday than depth WRs Malachi Corley (15 snaps) and Gage Larvadain (31),

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Set to face Bears
Tillman (concussion/ribs) is active for Sunday's game against the Bears.
Tillman didn't practice at all Wednesday or Thursday, but he managed a limited session Friday. That will be enough for him to suit up, which also signifies that he cleared the league's concussion protocol. Tillman has yet to show much rapport with Shedeur Sanders, as he has only two catches for 28 yards across the three games that Sanders has started.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Listed as questionable
Tillman (concussion/ribs) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Tillman is managing a rib injury and also will need to gain full clearance from the NFL's concussion protocol, including from an independent neurologist, in order to be eligible to play Sunday. Isaiah Bond will stand to benefit from increased opportunities in the receiving game if Tillman ultimately remains sidelined Week 15.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Remains sidelined at practice
Tillman (concussion/ribs) is not in line to practice Thursday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Tillman is missing a second consecutive practice while nursing a pair of injury sustained during Cleveland's loss to the Titans in Week 14. He'll have one more chance to resume practicing ahead of Sunday's game against Chicago, but at this stage Tillman appears to be trending in the wrong direction. He'll need to gain full clearance from the concussion protocol before returning to the Browns' starting lineup.
