Watts joined the Steelers as an undrafted free agent after the 2022 NFL Draft. He was waived with an injury settlement May 23 and will continue looking for a new opportunity around the league.

Watts was reverted to IR last Tuesday after clearing waivers. He had recently joined the Steelers as an undrafted free agent, but he'll now look to earn a chance elsewhere if he can prove he is healthy.

Watts was recently signed as an undrafted free agent by the Steelers. Since he was waived with an injury designation he must be placed on IR upon clearing waivers. He'll be forced to miss the upcoming season unless he agrees to an injury settlement.
