Saints' Anfernee Jennings: Heading to Big Easy
Jennings is expected to sign with the Saints on Sunday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Jennings spent the last five seasons with the Patriots, accumulating 132 tackles and 7.5 sacks. The 2020 third-round pick was let go by New England on March 11. Jennings is heading into his age-29 season, and he should provide veteran depth behind Carl Granderson and Chase Young.

Anfernee Jennings: Time up in New England
Jennings is slated to be released by the Patriots, Mike Reiss of ESPN reports.
Jennings departs New England as the team's longest tenured player, as Reiss reports, having played for a trio of head coaches during his time with the team. The Patriots create roughly $3.8 million in salary cap space with his release. Now heading into his age-29 season, Jennings will likely find a home elsewhere in the league as a rotational pass rusher.

Patriots' Anfernee Jennings: Healthy scratch
Jennings (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Titans.
Jennings missed the Week 6 win against the Saints with an ankle injury but is a healthy scratch for Sunday's matchup. The linebacker contributed 20 defensive snaps in Week 4 and 22 in Week 5 prior to his ankle issue, and he had a similar special teams presence as well. With Jennings' status confirmed for Sunday, Jahlani Tavai could continue to see more defensive snaps as a reserve linebacker.

Patriots' Anfernee Jennings: Will suit up at Tennessee
Jennings (ankle) does not carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans.
Jennings was forced to watch Week 6 action in New Orleans from the sidelines as he tended to an ankle issue, but he's now on track to play in Week 7. He figures to slot back into a rotational role on the edge across from a middling Tennessee offensive line.

Patriots' Anfernee Jennings: Still can't practice Wednesday
Jennings (ankle) did not participate at practice Wednesday.
Jennings was forced to spend Week 6 on the sideline with an ankle injury, and now it looks uncertain whether he'll be healthy enough to return in Week 7. Unless he's able to get back on the practice field Thursday or Friday, it's unlikely he'll be available Sunday at Tennessee.

Patriots' Anfernee Jennings: Won't play Sunday
Jennings (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Saints, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
The 2020 third-round pick from Alabama downgraded from a limited practice session Wednesday to a DNP on Thursday, so it's no surprise that he'll be sidelined for Week 6. Jennings has played 130 total snaps (65 on defense, 65 on special teams) through four appearances this season, recording seven total tackles. While he's out Sunday, Elijah Ponder could see increased defensive work as a reserve outside linebacker.

Jennings started in all 16 games he appeared in during the 2024 season, playing at least 40 snaps in 14 of those contests while setting career highs in combined tackles and sacks. The 2020 third-round pick enters the offseason as a restricted free agent, which gives the Patriots the right to match any offer that another team puts in front of Jennings.

Patriots' Anfernee Jennings: Active for Week 18
Jennings (knee) is active for Sunday's regular-season finale against Buffalo.
A lingering knee injury limited Jennings in practice all week, but the 2020 third-round pick will suit up Sunday. Through 15 regular-season games, Jennings has posted career bests in combined tackles (72) and sacks (2.5).
