Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Loses in goalie duel
Vasilevskiy made 19 saves in a 4-1 loss to Montreal on Thursday.
The game was a lot closer than the score suggests. Vasilevskiy allowed just two goals. He was outdueled by Jakub Dobes, who faced 37 pucks in the Montreal net. It was Vasilevskiy's first regulation loss since March 14 (seven starts). His Vezina-caliber season continues. He leads in the NHL in wins (35), is second in GAA (2.33) and is tied with Logan Thompson for second in save percentage (.913).

Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Goal streak at five games
Guentzel scored a goal in a 4-1 loss to Montreal on Thursday.
Guentzel's snipe streak now stands at five games and five goals (four assists). He has reached a five-game streak multiple times in his career. His longest goal stretch was seven games, which he set in late 2024 (nine goals). With this run, Guentzel is flirting with a 40-goal campaign. If successful, he will have four 40-point regular seasons. He also has 81 points, which puts him just three from equaling his career mark (84) set in 2021-22.

Lightning's Nikita Kucherov: Expected to play Tuesday
Kucherov (illness) is set to be in the lineup versus the Canadiens on Tuesday, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Kucherov missed two games while under the weather. The 32-year-old superstar should be good for his usual top-six role and power-play time. He racked up six goals and nine assists over the six games prior to his absence.

Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Set to face Montreal
Vasilevskiy will patrol the home crease against the Canadiens on Tuesday, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.
Vasilevskiy is coming off a 26-save performance in Saturday's 4-2 win over Ottawa. He has a 35-12-4 record this campaign with two shutouts, a 2.33 GAA and a .911 save percentage across 51 appearances. Montreal sits third in the league with 3.51 goals per game this season.

Lightning's Nikita Kucherov: Officially game-time call
Kucherov (illness) will be a game-time decision versus the Canadiens on Tuesday, Eric Engels of Sportsnet reports.
Kucherov has been out of action for the Bolts' last two games due to his illness, but he seems to be trending in the right direction. Assuming the 32-year-old winger does suit up, he figures to retake his spot on the first line in addition to slotting back in with the No. 1 power-play unit.

Lightning's Noah Steen: Pens ELC with Tampa Bay
Steen inked a two-year, entry-level contract with the Lightning on Monday, according to PuckPedia.
Steen was a seventh-round selection (No. 199 overall) by Tampa Bay in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. The 21-year-old produced 12 goals, 10 assists and a plus-6 rating over 52 regular-season games with Orebro HK of the Swedish Hockey League in 2025-26, but the left-shot forward did not get on the scoresheet in three playoff games. Steen's entry-level deal will begin next season, and he'll be a restricted free agent after the 2027-28 campaign.

Lightning's Corey Perry: Scores winning goal Sunday
Perry scored a goal in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Predators.
Perry delivered the game-winner for the Bolts at the 6:52 mark of the final frame with a snap shot. Even though the veteran forward doesn't have the role he had in his prime, he remains a capable performer. He's up to four goals and six points in 13 games since being acquired by Tampa Bay from Los Angeles midway through the season. This was his 15th overall goal in 63 appearances.

Lightning's Brandon Hagel: Scores 35th goal of season
Hagel scored a goal in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Predators.
Hagel found the back of the net at the 4:33 mark of the final frame, giving the Lightning a transitory 2-1 lead, although the Bolts would end up winning thanks to a later goal from Corey Perry. Hagel has matched the best goal tally of his career, set across 82 regular-season games in 2024-25, though he's unlikely to reach the 90-point threshold he did then. Over 68 regular-season contests, Hagel has notched 73 points (35 goals and 38 assists) in 2025-26. He's also on quite a scoring roll since he's found the back of the net in three of his last four appearances.

Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Three-point performance Sunday
Guentzel recorded a goal and two assists in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Predators.
Guentzel scored Tampa Bay's first goal with a wrister at the 13:32 mark of the second period before assisting on goals scored by Brandon Hagel and Corey Perry. Guentzel has found the back of the net in four consecutive games and six of his last seven. He's up to 35 goals and 45 assists in 72 games. This is just the third season in his career that he has reached the 80-point threshold, and Guentzel has a chance to top his career high of 84 points, established in 76 regular-season games with the Penguins in 2021-22.

Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Earns win in spot start
Johansson stopped 29 of 31 shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Predators.
Johansson was beaten in the second and third periods, but overall, he looked competent between the pipes and did enough to support Tampa Bay's comeback in the final frame. Johansson earned his first win since Jan. 12, but given that he rarely suits up for the Bolts, he's not a player to target in most fantasy formats -- even in games where Andrei Vasilevskiy gets a breather.

Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Gets rare start Sunday
Johansson will tend the goal Sunday against the Predators, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
Johansson will get just his third start in Tampa Bay's 15 games during the month of March. The 30-year-old hasn't picked up a win since Jan. 12, posting a record of 0-3-1 in his last four starts. He is 10-9-2 on the season with a 3.26 GAA and an .883 save percentage. After a five-game win streak, the Predators have taken losses in back-to-back games while scoring only three goals over those two contests.

Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Overcomes rough start
Vasilevskiy made 26 saves Saturday in a 4-2 win over Ottawa.
It was a rough start for Vasilevskiy, who allowed a five-hole goal 18 seconds into the game and was out of position four minutes later for the Sens' second goal. He then tightened the proverbial hatches and dominated. Vasilevskiy is undefeated in regulation in six games (5-0-1). He will likely get the night off Sunday when Tampa plays Nashville.

Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Three-game goal streak
Guentzel scored a goal in Saturday's 4-2 win over Ottawa.
It was a breakaway snipe late in the third period to seal the win 4-2. Guentzel has scored in three consecutive games (three goals, two assists), and he has a goal in five of his last six contests. The goal was his 34th this season (77 points in 72 games).
