Kings' Samuel Helenius: Absent from practice
Helenius (undisclosed) is day-to-day and didn't participate in Sunday's practice, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.
It's unclear if he will play against St. Louis on Wednesday. Still, Alex Turcotte and Taylor Ward could both be in the lineup regardless of Helenius' availability. The 23-year-old Helenius has registered four goals, eight points, 34 shots on net and 128 hits across 45 appearances this season.

Kings' Joel Edmundson: Garners assist Saturday
Edmundson notched an assist, three shots on goal, two hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.
Edmundson has picked up two assists, a plus-7 rating, 21 blocked shots and 18 hits over 14 appearances in March. The 32-year-old blueliner continues to handle top-four minutes in a shutdown role. He's earned 19 points, 87 shots on net, 87 hits, 96 blocked shots, 23 PIM and a plus-11 rating through 73 appearances. If he can get one more point, he'll reach 20 for the second year in a row and the third time in his 11-year career.

Kings' Anze Kopitar: Lights lamp Saturday
Kopitar scored a goal, added two PIM and blocked three shots in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.
Kopitar got the Kings on the board in the first period, but the Mammoth's offense was overwhelming. This tally snapped a three-game point drought for the center. He's up to 12 goals, 34 points, 85 shots on net, 51 blocked shots, 30 hits and a plus-15 rating over 58 appearances. Kopitar will look to give everything he's got over the last few weeks of the regular season as he looks to get one more chance in the playoffs in his farewell campaign.

Kings' Adrian Kempe: One of each in loss
Kempe scored a goal, added an assist and logged two hits in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.
Kempe set up Anze Kopitar in the first period and then scored a goal of his own in the third. The tally ended a six-game goal drought for Kempe, who was limited to three assists in that span. The 29-year-old has also battled a nagging lower-body injury recently, which may explain his decline in production. For the season, he's at 27 goals, 62 points, 193 shots on net, 118 hits, 56 PIM and a plus-10 rating over 72 appearances. If Kempe is playing at less than 100 percent, he could have a tough time assembling enough of a surge to secure a third straight 70-point campaign.

Kings' Anton Forsberg: Plays third period Saturday
Forsberg stopped all 11 shots he faced in relief of Darcy Kuemper in the third period of Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.
The Mammoth got an empty-netter early in the third period but didn't put the puck behind Forsberg in his relief appearance. The 33-year-old has given up 15 goals on 140 shots over five appearances in March, which has led to him serving firmly in the backup role. He remains at 11-11-5 with a 2.81 GAA and a .902 save percentage over 30 appearances this season. The Kings have a back-to-back in the middle of the week, hosting the Blues on Wednesday and the Predators on Thursday. Forsberg could get a start in that span, though Kuemper could get doubled up for starts if the Kings need to go all-out to gain ground in the playoff race.

Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Pulled after two periods Saturday
Kuemper stopped 11 of 16 shots in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.
Kuemper was pulled after two periods in an ineffective performance. This was his first regulation loss since March 7 versus the Canadiens -- he went 3-0-4 over the seven outings in between. This poor showing dropped Kuemper to 18-14-13 with a 2.67 GAA and an .896 save percentage over 47 starts this season. The Kings have a back-to-back up next with major implications on the playoff race in both games, as they host the Blues on Wednesday and the Predators on Thursday. Kuemper and Anton Forsberg will likely split those games, though Kuemper would be the more probable of the two to get doubled up for starts, especially if the Kings lose ground in the playoff race while idle for the three days.

Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Set to face Utah
Kuemper will patrol the home crease against the Mammoth on Saturday, per Eric Stephens of The Athletic.
Kuemper is coming off a 19-save performance in Thursday's 4-0 shutout win over Vancouver. He has gone 18-13-13 this campaign with a 2.60 GAA and an .899 save percentage across 46 appearances. Utah is tied for 13th in the league with 3.14 goals per game this season.

Kings' Martin Chromiak: Three-point game in AHL win
Chromiak scored twice and added an assist in AHL Ontario's 3-2 win over Tucson on Friday.
Chromiak has earned eight goals and four assists over his last 13 outings. He's taken a big step forward this season with 24 goals, 49 points and a plus-1 rating over 63 contests. Chromiak is still waiting for his NHL debut, but he's proving he can score at the AHL level.

Kings' Vojtech Cihar: Tallies twice for Kelowna
Cihar scored two goals in WHL Kelowna's 3-1 win over Kamloops in Game 1 on Friday.
Cihar was a point-per-game player in the regular season after joining the Rockets. He picked up 12 goals, 19 assists and a plus-18 rating over 31 appearances, and he's off to a strong start in the postseason as well. The Kings prospect should continue to be among Kelowna's top forwards.

Kings' Mikey Anderson: Pockets pair of helpers
Anderson logged two assists, two shots on goal, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Canucks.
Anderson set up Trevor Moore in the second period and Quinton Byfield on the empty-netter in the third. This ended a four-game slump for Anderson, who has done pretty well in March with two goals and six assists over 13 outings. The 26-year-old defenseman rarely plays a big part on offense, instead focusing on his own zone in a shutdown role. He has 17 points, 56 shots on net, 95 hits, 114 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 70 appearances this season.

Kings' Scott Laughton: Buries power-play tally
Laughton scored a power-play goal on five shots in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Canucks.
Laughton had gone eight games without a goal, picking up just one assist in that span. The 31-year-old center has retained a power-play role throughout the slump, which is a good sign for his production down the stretch, though he won't be a leader on offense. He's now at 11 goals, 17 points, 75 shots on net, 101 hits, 35 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 54 appearances between the Kings and the Maple Leafs this season.

Kings' Artemi Panarin: Extends lead Thursday
Panarin scored a goal on four shots in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Canucks.
Panarin scored in the final minute of the second period, likely putting a pin in any comeback effort the Canucks could have attempted. The 34-year-old winger saw his six-game point streak end Tuesday versus the Flames, but he continues to deliver in a top-line role for the Kings. He has 18 points in 16 games since he was traded to Los Angeles, giving him 26 goals, 49 assists, 204 shots on net and a minus-10 rating over 68 appearances this season.

Kings' Trevor Moore: One of each in win
Moore scored a goal on five shots, added a power-play assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Canucks.
This was Moore's first multi-point effort since Nov. 28 versus the Ducks. He has three goals and five helpers over his last 11 contests while primarily filling a second-line role. His helper Thursday was his first power-play point of the campaign as well. He's at 10 goals, 24 points, 131 shots on net, 48 hits, 30 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 59 appearances.

Kings' Quinton Byfield: Bags pair of points
Byfield scored an empty-net goal on four shots, dished a power-play assist, added two PIM, logged two hits and went plus-3 in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Canucks.
Byfield picked up his third straight multi-point effort with this performance. He set up Scott Laughton's first-period tally before depositing an empty-netter in the third. With the recent surge, Byfield is up to 18 goals, 42 points, 152 shots on net, 55 hits, 37 blocked shots, 42 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 69 appearances. He continues to look steady in a top-six role with ice time in all situations.

Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Cruises to shutout win
Kuemper posted a 19-save shutout in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Canucks.
Kuemper didn't have a lot of work to do against the NHL's worst team, and he took care of business while facing his lightest workload in any outing in March. He's now 4-1-4 this month, and that ability to salvage points is keeping the Kings in the playoff race -- they're one point back of the Predators for the second wild-card spot through Thursday's action. This was Kuemper's third shutout of the season, and he improved to 18-13-13 with a 2.60 GAA and an .899 save percentage over 46 appearances. The Kings have a pivotal matchup versus the Mammoth on Saturday, and Kuemper will likely be playing a lot as long as the Kings remain the hunt.

Kings' Jimmy Lombardi: Adds three points Thursday
Lombardi scored a goal and added two assists in OHL Flint's 8-1 Game 1 win over Owen Sound on Thursday.
Lombardi was one of a few NHL-affiliated prospects to have a big performance in Flint's opener. He took a huge step up this season with 36 goals and 72 points over 65 regular-season outings, shooting 20 percent on the year. His OHL playoff history is fairly limited -- he had just two points over nine contests in two postseasons prior to his three-point burst Thursday.

Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Expected to start Thursday
Kuemper is expected to start on the road against Vancouver on Thursday, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.
Kuemper is looking to get back into the win column after going 0-0-3 with a 2.83 GAA and an .883 save percentage across his past three games. He's 17-13-13 with a 2.66 GAA and an .897 save percentage in 45 appearances this season. Vancouver is a favorable matchup. The Canucks have dropped their past three games to fall to 21-41-8 on the season, and they rank 31st in goals per game with 2.53 this campaign.
