Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Gets over 90-point mark again
Crosby scored a goal on three shots, added a power-play assist, logged two PIM and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Capitals.
From the start of March, Crosby rallied with 30 points over the last 21 games of the season. The 37-year-old wasn't able to change the Penguins' fortunes, but he was able to cross the 90-point threshold for the ninth time in 20 seasons. He ends 2024-25 with 33 goals, 58 assists, 227 shots on net, 67 hits, 39 blocked shots, 31 PIM and a minus-20 rating over 80 appearances. He earned 27 of his 91 points with the man advantage. Crosby inked a two-year extension just before this season began, so he'll be back for a 21st season in 2025-26.

Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Pair of points in comeback win
Crosby scored a power-play goal on four shots and added an assist in Friday's 4-2 win over the Devils.
Crosby's tally at 13:21 of the third period was the game-winner, and he also set up a Bryan Rust empty-netter to seal the win. Crosby has gotten on the scoresheet in 14 of the last 15 contests, earning 13 goals and 10 assists in that span. The 37-year-old superstar is up to 32 goals (nine game-winners), 89 points, 26 power-play points, 223 shots on net, 66 hits and a minus-21 rating over 78 appearances. He'll have two more chances to reach the 90-point mark for the third year in a row and the ninth time in his career.

Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Power-play goal in blowout win
Crosby scored a power-play goal on six shots in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Blackhawks.
Crosby has racked up 12 goals and nine assists over 14 games since March 9. The 37-year-old just won't stop, and his goal Tuesday was ultimately all the Penguins needed in a lopsided win avenging their loss in Chicago on Sunday. He's now at 31 goals, 87 points (25 on the power play), 219 shots on net, 66 hits and a minus-21 rating across 77 appearances this season. This is the fourth time in his career he's scored at least eight game-winners in a campaign.

Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Four points in Saturday's win
Crosby scored three goals, one on the power play, and added an even-strength assist in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Stars.
After opening the scoring on the afternoon with his 10th power-play tally of the season early in the first period, Crosby took control of the game in the third en route to his 14th career hat trick. With five games left on the Penguins' schedule, Crosby needs four more points to hit 90 for the ninth time.

Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Scores lone goal in win
Crosby scored a power-play goal on six shots and added two PIM in Sunday's 1-0 overtime win over the Senators.
Crosby has eight goals and seven assists during his active 10-game point streak. His latest contribution was clutch, as he broke the 0-0 tie 1:16 into overtime to steal a win for the Penguins. The 37-year-old superstar's recent surge has him up to 27 goals, 81 points (22 on the power play), 204 shots on net, 65 hits, 38 blocked shots and a minus-23 rating through 73 appearances. He may fall short of the 90-point mark this year, but few players have the talent to continue producing at the level Crosby has in the later years of his career.

Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Makes history in Thursday's loss
Crosby scored his 26th goal of the season in Thursday's 7-3 loss to the Sabres.
The future Hall of Famer got his team on the board midway through the first period, before the game got away from the Penguins. It was Crosby's 80th point of the season, assuring that he'll finish 2024-25 having averaged at least a point a contest for the 20th straight season -- breaking Wayne Gretzky's NHL record of 19 straight point-a-game campaigns. Pittsburgh's playoff chances are fading rapidly, but Crosby is going down swinging. He's found the scoresheet in 12 of 13 games in March, piling up eight goals and 19 points on the month.

Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Distributes two apples in loss
Crosby dished two assists and blocked two shot attempts in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Panthers.
Crosby registered assists on both of linemate Bryan Rust's tallies in the opening period. The first of Crsoby's two helpers was on a power play to tie the game at one apiece. With Sunday's apples, the 37-year-old superstar extended his point streak to seven games, a span where he has earned 12 points. Overall, Crosby is up to 53 assists and 78 points this season, which ranks 11th in the NHL. He has elite fantasy value for the postseason and is just two points shy of reaching the 80-point mark for the 14th time in his 20-year career.
