Devils' Vladislav Kolyachonok: Heading to waivers
Kolyachonok was placed on waivers by New Jersey on Sunday.
Kolyachonok secured a one-year deal with New Jersey when free agency opened after he spent time between the Stars and Bruins in 2025-26. The 25-year-old blueliner posted a goal, two assists, a plus-two rating, 12 shots on net, five hits and 13 blocked shots across 13 regular-season appearances between Dallas and Boston. If he goes unclaimed, he will likely open the season with AHL Utica, but he could be brought up by New Jersey if they elect to shake things up on the blue line once again in the upcoming campaign.

Devils' Vladislav Kolyachonok: Inks one-way contract
Kolyachonok signed a one-year, $850,000 contract with the Devils on Wednesday, per agent Dan Milstein.
Kolyachonok was an unrestricted free agent after Dallas declined to present him with a qualifying offer before Monday's deadline. He had a goal, three points, four PIM, five hits and 13 blocks in 13 regular-season appearances between Dallas and Boston in 2025-26. Kolyachonok's new contract is a one-way deal, which might indicate that New Jersey is seriously considering him for an Opening Night roster spot. If Kolyachonok does make the team, it will probably be as the seventh blueliner on the depth chart.

Since being claimed off waivers by Boston from Dallas on Dec. 16, Kolyachonok hasn't earned a point in two games while posting two shots on goal and three blocked shots. Bruins' Vladislav Kolyachonok: Claimed by Boston
Kolyachonok was claimed off waivers by the Bruins on Tuesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Kolyachonok was waived by Dallas on Monday, and the left-shot defenseman will link up with a new organization rather than joining AHL Texas. The 24-year-old will likely remain in the NHL, as Boston is currently dealing with multiple injuries on the blue line. However, he shouldn't be expected to be available for Tuesday's home matchup against Utah.

Kolyachonok scored the game-winning goal and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 3-2 victory over the Kraken.
Kolyachonok's long-range shot found the net at 14:16 of the third period, and that stood as the decisive goal. The 24-year-old has picked up both of his points this season over the last two games while filling in on the third pairing. He's added five shots on net, two hits, a plus-1 rating and one blocked shot over five appearances. However, Kolyachonok is unlikely to contribute enough in the long run to be an option for most fantasy managers.

Stars' Vladislav Kolyachonok: Heading to Dallas
Kolyachonok was traded to the Stars from the Penguins on Thursday in exchange for Matt Dumba and a 2028 second-round pick.
Kolyachonok began the 2024-25 campaign with Utah and joined Pittsburgh after being waived in February. In total, he made 35 regular-season appearances between the two clubs, logging two goals, five assists, 31 blocked shots, 27 hits and 10 PIM while averaging 13:01 of ice time. He'll presumably have a chance to compete for an Opening Night roster spot with his new club during training camp, but he could have to spend some time in the minors.

Penguins' Vladislav Kolyachonok: Plays in finale
Kolyachonok suited up and logged three hits with a shot on goal and a minus-1 rating in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Capitals.
Kolyachonok got back in the lineup after a seven-game stint as a healthy scratch. The 23-year-old ended the campaign with seven points, 20 shots on net, 27 hits, 31 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a minus-12 rating over 35 appearances between Pittsburgh and Utah. Kolyachonok has had trouble establishing himself in the NHL, but he should get a chance to prove himself in training camp next fall, considering the Penguins' blue line was a weak spot this season.

Kolyachonok notched an assist and two PIM in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Devils.
Kolyachonok remains listed on the top pairing alongside Kris Letang, but the former had just 12:00 of ice time in Saturday's win. The helper was Kolyachonok's first point as a Penguin, and he's at six points, 17 shots on net, 26 blocked shots, 18 hits and a minus-9 rating over 29 appearances when accounting for his time with Utah earlier in the season.

Penguins' Vladislav Kolyachonok: Getting chance to play
Kolyachonok played in his fourth straight game Tuesday in a 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Kolyachonok was scratched for six straight games after the Penguins plucked him off waivers from Utah. He's since played in the last four games due to injuries to Pierre-Olivier Joseph (upper body) and Ryan Shea (upper body). Kolyachonok was on the top pairing alongside Kris Letang and saw 21:43 of ice time Tuesday. Despite a minus-3 rating across four contests with the Penguins, Kolyachonok looks to be getting an extended audition for 2025-26 -- he's under contract for next season after inking a two-year deal with Utah last June prior to being waived.

Penguins' Vladislav Kolyachonok: Claimed off waivers
Pittsburgh claimed Kolyachonok off waivers from Utah on Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Kolyachonok recorded two goals, three assists, 12 shots on net, 19 blocked shots, and 14 hits in 23 appearances with Utah during the 2024-25 season. The team planned to assign him to AHL Tucson if he cleared waivers; however, he will now have the chance to play regularly with the Penguins.

Hockey Club's Vladislav Kolyachonok: Placed on waivers
Kolyachonok was put on waivers by Utah on Saturday.

Hockey Club's Vladislav Kolyachonok: Stuck in reserve role
Kolyachonok was scratched for the fifth straight game in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Blues.
John Marino's return Tuesday from a season-long absence due to a back injury complicated Kolyachonok's path to the lineup. A spot opened up Saturday when Mikhail Sergachev (upper body) was ruled out, but it was Nick DeSimone who entered the lineup. Kolyachonok has five points, 12 shots on net, a minus-7 rating, 14 hits and 19 blocked shots over 23 appearances this season. Kolyachonok would require waivers to be sent to AHL Tucson, but his presence on the NHL roster suggests Utah is not willing to risk losing the 23-year-old for nothing.

Hockey Club's Vladislav Kolyachonok: Tallies game-winner
Kolyachonok scored the game-winning goal and fired two shots on net in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Avalanche.
Since Robert Bortuzzo (lower body) is facing a significant absence, Kolyachonok may finally get a look in Utah's lineup. He played just 9:47 in Thursday's contest, but his tally at 8:05 of the second period stood as the game-winner. He's played in just three of the last 18 games, and that's been exclusively in a limited third-pairing role. For the season, he's at a career-high five points with seven shots on net, nine hits, nine blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 14 appearances.

Hockey Club's Vladislav Kolyachonok: On outside looking in for now
Kolyachonok has been scratched 10 times over Utah's first 12 games in November.
While that's not an encouraging workload for the young defenseman, Kolyachonok could be called upon soon to fill in for Maveric Lamoureux (upper body), who is out 4-6 weeks. Juuso Valimaki got first dibs on filling Lamoureux's spot Friday, but the 23-year-old Kolyachonok needs to get in some action. He'd have to go through waivers to be assigned to AHL Tucson. Utah hasn't put much trust in the Belarusian defenseman so far, giving him an average of 13:05 per game over 13 contests, during which he's picked up four points and a minus-6 rating.

Hockey Club's Vladislav Kolyachonok: Notches two helpers
Kolyachonok registered two assists and two hits in Monday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Sharks.
Kolyachonok helped out on second-period tallies by Matias Maccelli and Mikhail Sergachev. This was Kolyachonok's first multi-point effort in 2024-25, and he shouldn't be expected to make much of an impact on offense from the third pairing. He's at four points, eight hits, seven blocked shots, three shots on goal and a minus-5 rating over 10 appearances, and he may have to compete with Maveric Lamoureux and Juuso Valimaki for consistent playing time.
