  • Jets' Thomas Milic: Concedes four goals in loss

Milic turned aside 23 of 27 shots during Saturday's 5-2 preseason loss to the Oilers. The fifth goal was an empty-netter. Milic drew the start during Saturday's preseason opener and wasn't particularly sharp during his first tune-up ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. The Jets have some uncertainty in the crease ahead of the upcoming season due to Connor Hellebuyck's suspension amid his trade request, so Milic is in the mix to serve as Stuart Skinner's primary backup.

  • Jets' Thomas Milic: Starting Saturday

Milic will defend the road net in Saturday's preseason game against Edmonton, according to Jamie Thomas of the Jets' official site. Milic registered a 20-13-6 record with a 2.64 GAA and a .905 save percentage in 41 appearances for AHL Manitoba in the 2025-26 regular season. With Connor Hellebuyck suspended and awaiting a resolution to his trade request, the 23-year-old Milic will compete in camp to begin the 2026-27 campaign as Stuart Skinner's backup.

  • Jets' Thomas Milic: Sharp in shutout for Manitoba

Milic posted a 32-save shutout in AHL Manitoba's 1-0 win over Belleville on Saturday. Milic has four shutouts this season, including three over his last nine outings. The 22-year-old goalie is up to 17-11-4 with a 2.45 GAA and a .911 save percentage over 33 appearances this season. Milic has taken some strides this year in his development, but it's unclear if he'll start seeing more regular NHL minutes in 2026-27.

  • Jets' Thomas Milic: Picks up AHL shutout

Milic posted a 31-save shutout in AHL Manitoba's 1-0 win over Toronto on Sunday. This was Milic's second shutout of the season. He's at a 13-7-4 record with a 2.49 GAA and a .907 save percentage over 25 outings this season. Those are career-best numbers for the 22-year-old goalie, though he continues to share the AHL crease with Domenic DiVincentiis.

  • Jets' Thomas Milic: Returned to minors

Milic was reassigned to AHL Manitoba on Monday. In a corresponding move, the Jets brought up Domenic DiVincentiis. This swap of goalies is likely as a way to get Milic back into the crease for the Moose. With Connor Hellebuyck (knee) still on the shelf, it's possible we see these two young netminders switched again in the future. For now, Milic heads back to AHL Manitoba, where he is sporting a 2.14 GAA and a 5-2-2 record in nine outings this year.

  • Jets' Thomas Milic: Needed in relief Saturday

Milic stopped nine of 11 shots in relief of Eric Comrie in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Oilers. Comrie was stuck with the loss after a poor first period, but Milic didn't fare much better even as the Oilers eased up over the final two frames. Milic has made two relief appearances in the last four games. He's now allowed eight goals on 62 shots over three NHL outings. The Jets are spiraling without Connor Hellebuyck (knee), but Milic hasn't shown enough to earn a larger share of playing time as the team tries to tread water for the next month or so.

  • Jets' Thomas Milic: Allows two in relief effort

Milic turned aside 15 of 17 shots in Monday's 5-1 loss to Buffalo. Milic entered the contest at the start of the second period in relief of Eric Comrie. The 22-year-old Milic is now 0-1-0 with a 3.64 GAA and an .882 save percentage through his first two NHL appearances. While he's yet to find the win column, Monday's outing was a step forward in the long road to becoming a consistent NHL netminder. With Connor Hellebuyck predicted to be sidelined until January due to a knee injury, Milic should have more opportunities to play moving forward. His next chance to take the ice is Wednesday in Montreal.

  • Jets' Thomas Milic: Recalled from AHL

Milic was called up from AHL Manitoba on Friday. The Jets are in need of a goaltender after learning that Connor Hellebuyck requires arthroscopic knee surgery and will be out of action for 4-6 weeks. Eric Comrie will be the No. 1 goaltender in the interim with Milic backing him up. Milic has been terrific at the AHL level this season, posting a 5-2-2 record with a 2.14 GAA and a .921 save percentage across nine starts.
