Trikozov had worn a non-contact jersey during Tuesday's practice, but his reassignment indicates that he's now healthy. The 22-year-old had seven goals and 11 points in 46 regular-season appearances with AHL Chicago in 2025-26.

Trikozov produced just 11 points in 46 games for AHL Chicago last year, so he was unlikely to make the Opening Night roster even before getting hurt. Unless the 22-year-old winger can find more offense, he is unlikely to make a significant impact in fantasy contests.

Trikozov scored twice in AHL Chicago's 4-2 win over Rockford on Sunday.
Trikozov has had an unremarkable campaign so far with seven goals and four assists over 44 appearances. The 21-year-old winger had been limited to just one goal over his previous 15 games before breaking the slump Sunday with his second multi-point effort of the season. A second-round pick from 2022, Trikozov will need to show significantly more offense as he continues to develop.
