Talyn Boyko: Hitting free-agent market
The Rangers opted not to give Boyko a qualifying offer, according to Mollie Walker of the New York Post on Monday.
Boyko, a fourth-round pick by the Rangers in 2021, has never appeared in an NHL game. Once free agency opens Wednesday, the 23-year-old goaltender can sign with a new club.

Rangers' Talyn Boyko: Loaned to Finnish club
Boyko was sent to KalPa of the Finnish Liiga on Saturday.
The Alberta native was 0-2-2 with a 3.10 GAA and an .894 save percentage in five appearances with AHL Hartford this season. He should get more of an opportunity to play across the pond.
